Political views is something that a teenager has no interest in, to be honest even some adults don't even care for the specific topics. That all changed during the 2016 American presidential election. Primary candidates Donald J Trump a Tv star versus former U.S first lady Hilarry Clinton.
           Now why might that be worth caring about, electing a president has always been a grown up thing but when a candidate threaten to send you back to a country you escape from to better your life, you might want to open your eyes and lend an ear to society. Donld Trump the Republican candidate promised that because there is so much illegal immigrants in the United State, it puts danger on those who are native who are living in poverty because the government is to busy worried about taking care of the immigrants rather than the natives.
             It grew division in the nation, some believed what he was saying was unconstitutional and some thought it was logical. Despite all the racists and reckless point of view he possessed on November 8th 2016 the American people voted him into office. Some regret their decision because his view as just gotten worse and some still ride with him despite his flaws.
     I started watching the news because with a president like him you never know when he'll pull the war or the unconstitutional lever. But I don't get my news from the national news channels like CNN and definitely not FOX News, I get my Informations from late night TV shows, such as The daily show with Trevor Noah, Stephen Colbert, Bil Maher and the late night show with Seth Myers.
      Many people criticize me for getting my information from comedic TV shows hosts rather than the actual news channels. The answer is simple as this. News channels are Bias and only are one sided, they focus only on the bad or the good of a person or certain news. The TV hosts call out the bad and good and they give you why they believe so, they get their information from the news and give me a clear meaning to what is really said rather than praising one person or degrading ones view.
              Politics have only become lies throughout the years and it is not getting any better as the present proceeds. I believe the future of the country will be set if we call out the bad and acknowledge the good but also respect each other views in life. Agreeing on different views can be difficult but if we seize to get the common views, we will thrive as a country and grow as a nation.
