"I'm guessing this is where it ends. Uon even pick up for a nigga."

"Chris gts" I stared at it until my screen went blank. The feeling of rejection... I didn't like it. I loved how strong of a woman she was but that characteristic of hers wasn't working to my advantage right about now.

"Royalty wake up baby." She rolled over. Must've been already awake cause it was never that easy.

"Goodmorning daddy."

"Goodmorning Princess." I picked her up and took her downstairs.

"What you want? Cereal?"

"Yes"

"Fruity pebbles?" That was her favorite cereal.

"Yes please." I fixed both of us a bowl and sat down with her.

"You ready to go back home with mama?" Nia was coming to take her back home today. I was kind of sad about it.

"Yeah"

"You ready to leave me?"

"No. Why can't you come with me?"

"Because its mommy's turn now." She pouted

"I'm gonna miss you daddy." Keep it together Chris.

"Imma miss you too baby. Make sure you FaceTime me when you get home."

"Okay" I checked the time. It was 9:00 which means her mama would be there any minute.

"Daddy can you call Hazel before I go?" I sighed. I didn't want her to be disappointed if she didn't answer but I gave it a shot anyway.

"Why isn't she answering?"

"She's probably working." I lied. Truth is, she didn't want to talk to me.

"Can you call her again?"

"She's not going to answer baby." I said, getting up to open the door for Nia.

"Hey." She spoke.

"Wassup?"

"My baby ready?"

"Not quite."

"Well Chris I need to be gone by 10:00 and it's 9:15."

"Nia shes five, it won't take that long to get her ready." I shook my head, going to wash her up and get her dressed so her mama could shut up.

"Come on Ro. Mommy's in a mood."

"Hey mommy!"

"Hey baby. Tell daddy to hurry up."

"Don't you tell me that." I warned her before she had time to say it. After getting her ready I took her back downstairs to send her off.

"Okay princess, i'll see you later. Daddy loves you with all his heart."

"I love you too daddy." She hugged me. I didn't wanna let her go.

"Get my baby home safe." I told Nia.

"Of course. I'll talk to you later."

"Alright" I locked the door behind her. I was lonely. My child was gone, my girl was gone... what was a nigga supposed to do?
