"Baby what you wanna do for your birthday?" Chris asked as we cuddled on the couch watching movies.
"Babe I have three months until my birthday." I laughed.
"Exactly. I want it to be special."
"I'm turning 27, not 16."
"I know but... I just want to make it special. All three birthday parties you've thrown for me been the best, hands down."
"So you tryna out do me?" He laughed.
"Yeah but i'm also just tryna make you smile."
"Aww. Just by you being alive makes me smile."
"Hazel don't make me drop a tear." He said, as if he was about to cry.
"Boy shut up." I laughed.
"But no seriously, give me an idea."
"Baby I don't know." I said, getting up and going in the kitchen for a snack.
"Because you not thinking." He followed me.
"You want it to be special?"
"Yes Hazel."
"Then you do it!" I said in Rasputia's voice from Norbit.
"Do you take anything serious?"
"No not really." I said hopping up on the counter.
"Well imma go home then."
"Nooo Chris, stop playing!" I whined, pulling him back.
"That's what I thought."
"Can you move in with me?" I asked, poking my lip out. He laughed.
"No but you can move back in with me." I thought about it. Was it appropriate to move back in with him so soon?
"Do you actually want me to or?"
"If I didn't want you to then why would I say it?"
"Eww your attitude stank." I scrunched up my face and pushed him off of me.
"Stop." He said, coming back in between my legs.
"You okay?" I asked once he was quiet for a while.
"Imma marry you one day." My heart dropped, I wasn't expecting him to say that.
"Nigga are you tryna give me some type of hint?"
"No. I'm just telling you i'm going to marry you one day."
"What if we break up again?" I was honestly so scared of that.
"We won't." He shook his head.
"What makes you so sure?"
"I'm not gone fuck up again. If i lose you for good, i lose myself. I got a child i need to be here for."
"And hundreds of thousands of fans."
"Exactly"
"Well... I believe in you and I have faith that we can make it work this time. I can't even remember my life before you."
