•Hazel"Nigga am I pregnant or are you? Your face look like it's getting fat." I said, noticing my baby was looking a little chunky. Maybe it was just my phone.
"I been eating."
"My pus- never mind." He shook his head, blowing smoke out of his mouth.
"You should really quit smoking."
"It's an e-cigarette baby."
"I don't care. If I can't smoke, neither can you. Im eight weeks now, the baby is fully developed by 24 weeks. You do the math."
"So what you telling me is, I got 16 weeks to stop smoking?"
"That's exactly what i'm telling you." I said, imitating the way he pronounces t words.
"You can't smoke around me at all now so." I shrugged.
"I wouldn't do that anyway baby. See, I put it out."
"Thank you."
"You talk to your friends today?" I shook my head no.
"You still don't wanna tell them?"
"Nope."
"I'm proud of you."
"Why?"
"You been doing really good with not telling them shit." I shrugged.
"I don't want a repeat of last time. They was just doing absolutely too much with the slick comments. They've been doing good too."
"Yeah cause they knew I was finna curse they ass out." I laughed.
"Well i'm glad you didn't."
"I still kinda wish I did." I shook my head.
"You're a hot head babe."
"Me? You a hothead with your mean ass."
"Excuse me, no i'm not."
"Hazel, think about the last thing you got mad at me about." I rolled my eyes up in the air, trying to remember.
"Leaving the toilet seat up."
"And who house was we in?"
"Yours."
"Exactly."
"So? I be telling you bout that. You be flushing the toilet with the seat up, letting damn germs fly around the bathroom. I bet it be on our toothbrush." I shook my head thinking about it.
"See, you getting mad now."
"Cause that's nasty."
"You nasty."
"You like it." I said with a wink.
"I do. I gotta go though baby. I love you."
"I love you too." I sighed.
"Gimme kiss." He put his lips to the camera, I did the same and made a kissing sound.
"Call me before you go to bed."
"Okay bye." I hung up before I could get sad. I need a side nigga or something. I walked downstairs, hearing my doorbell ring. I stood there for a second, listening for another one. I shrugged and went to the fridge to get something to drink once I didn't hear it. Since I had no one else to talk to, I unlocked my phone to call my mama. I knew if I called Dray, she would try to come over.
