I heard Hazel's phone buzz as I made her breakfast. She was still asleep and I didn't want to just answer her phone. We're not back to that point quite yet.

"Oh well. She shouldn't have left it here." I mumbled to myself as I picked it up.

Dre♥️.

I rolled my eyes. Nigga leave her alone before I fuck you up worse than I did the first time.

"Hello?"

"Who is this?"

"Who is you?"

"Her phone got caller i.d. right?" I chuckled. He got balls over the phone.

"Why you calling my girl phone?"

"Your girl? This gotta be delusional Chris." He was testing my patience. I was in a good mood this morning.

"Bitch ain't you got like six kids and a wife?" He was silent. "Hellooo?"

"Don't call me a bitch my nigga."

"Anyway. Ain't you got like ten kids and a wife bitch? Yeah my baby found out. Notice how i said MY baby which means she's not yours... she never was in the first place. But just to be clear, if you call her phone again imma fuck you up. Now, go breastfeed your bitch ass son." I said before hanging up. I doubt he would be calling her again.

"Hey daddy." Ro spoke, walking down the stairs with both hands on the rail. I smiled and spoke back.

"Good morning ladybug." Finally getting down the stairs, she walked over to me and reached her arms up.

"You too old to be wanting somebody to pick you up." I said kissing her cheek and sitting her on the counter. "You want pancakes?"

"Yes. Can you make a smiley face on it with the fruit?"

"I sure can."

"Goodmorning." Hazel spoke, walking downstairs rubbing her eyes.

"Hazelnut!" Ro gasped. I took her off the counter, knowing she wanted to give her a hug.

"Good morning baby." She smiled, scooping Ro up as she ran into her arms.

"What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to see you. Goodmorning." She spoke, kissing my lips.

"Good morning beautiful. You brush your teeth?" I asked, scrunching up my face. She laughed and slapped my arm.

"Yes I did, thank you very much."

"Wait!" We looked at Ro.

"You kissed daddy!" She exclaimed, making us laugh

"I know, now i'm kissing you." She said, smothering Ro's face with kisses.

"Are you and daddy back together?" She asked once Hazel stopped. We looked at each other.

"Surprise!" We said at the same time. Ro clapped excitedly.

"Yay! Daddy you were right, God does answer prayers."

"Of course he does." I said, handing her a strawberry.

"Are they sweet?" I asked Hazel, feeding her one. She nodded.
