"No, what the fuck?" I frowned, trying to figure out how she mistook him for Chris considering he was darker and had no visible tattoos.
"So why you smiling at him then?"
"Bitch he smiled at me!" I exclaimed. Her ass been doing the most ever since me and Chris decided to take a break. I can't even breathe around another nigga without her calling me a "cheater" I think she just found it amusing.
"So? Flash your ring."
"Girl what ring? My imaginary one?"
"The one that came in the mail."
"Girl fuck you." I laughed, stepping off the treadmill as it came to a stop. I was for real about getting my lil body back in shape. This shriveled up ass skin on my stomach ain't it. The love handles ain't safe either, they gotta go. I planned to use the days Chris kept Sariyah as time to work out. All three of the girls would take turns coming with me, if all three of them couldn't come. Friendship goals.
"Excuse me?" The dude that was smiling at me earlier grabbed my arm as me and Draya walked out of the locker room. I knew he was gonna say something sooner or later, considering he's been eyeing me the whole time.
"Yes?" I asked, ready to see what goofy pick up line he had up his sleeve... I don't know though, them darkiskins be smooth with it.
"I hate to seem thirsty but... you are fine." He licked his lips as he looked me up and down.
"Thanks." I chuckled. I could feel Draya burning a hole in my cheek and I just knew she was bout to say something.
"So...you got a nigga in your life or you one of them fine ass females that's single for no reason?" Alright, he corny.
"She got a boyfriend." Draya spoke. He held his head down and laughed, noticing the look I gave her. I guess he could probably tell I didn't have a boyfriend by the face I made.
"Let me guess, you just went through a breakup or you're working it out with your ex."
"Both." Draya answered as I was about to.
"Can you hush? I can talk for myself." She shrugged. He laughed again, finding me amusing. I don't know why he's even still here, he heard what she said.
"I'm sorry, now's not the time for me to jump into another relationship. I got work to do before that can happen." He nodded.
"I understand." Good, this conversation going on too long.
"She's single though." I said, pointing at Draya. He glanced over at her, not looking too impressed.
"Y'all have a good day." He waved and walked away. I laughed as Draya scoffed. I was actually kind of surprised he wasn't interested, considering she was of a lighter tone and men praise those types of females. I shouldn't be surprised though, my ghetto ass gets the most male attention out of the four of us.
"Why would you do that?" I asked her as we sat in Tropical Smoothie.
"Do what?"
"She got a boyfriend." I said in a mocking tone.
"Because you do. I was trying to run him off before your flirting ass gave him your number or something." I rolled my eyes because I actually was gonna turn him down myself before she opened her big mouth.
