Bts sickfics (cause there really aren't enough)- REQUESTS CLOSED

Jungkook(and also taehyung lol)-flu

This is a mix of two requests by @purplecupcakes005 and @12343273smas cause I might as well kill two birds with one stone 🤷🏻‍♀️ hope it's good enough for y'all!

"AAAACHOOOOOOO"

That was his 46th sneeze that day. Jungkook was ill. Not just a lil cold though. No. It was worse than that. He had every symptom to exist on earth- coughing, sneezing, blocked nose, blocked ears, nausea, fever, tiredness. Saying it was "just a cold" would be a fierce understatement. Luckily they'd gotten a while off to care for kookie until he had fully recovered. The flu was never fun. All of the members were constantly alert, ready to do or give kookie anything he needed. Well, all except one.... taehyung.

It was a surprise to everyone. Jungkook and taehyung are always so close! Why is taehyung ignoring him? It baffled all of them. Not long after Jungkook got ill, tae basically locked himself away in his room and never left unless it was for food or anything else important. And when he did leave, he didn't dare lay a single eye on Jungkook. It was really strange, and they knew something must be up. Jimin was just about to go and talk to him, when tae suddenly barged out of his room and ran into the bathroom. Jimin furrowed his brows in confusion. Was it really that urgent?

Meanwhile Tae was busy puking up his guts as quietly as possible in the bathroom. He didn't want to be to loud cause he knew they'd all just say the same thing they've been saying this whole time. "We know you're not sick tae, stop faking it for attention." When Jungkook got sick, tae also got sick too, but due to unfortunate timing, the other members took it as tae faking it for attention. He was known for being a clingy soul, so they knew that tae would probably get jealous of him for getting all the attention. But tae wasn't faking it. He was sick. How the others didn't realise that, he doesn't know. He felt so miserable. He felt so ill but no one was paying him any attention. It was rough, and he struggled to get through it without someone by his side. At this point he'd given up trying to convince them. He just thought "It'll go away eventually, just push through." But that was easier said than done.

Jimin stared at the closed door of the bathroom for a bit before going into tae's room and waiting for him. See jimin, unlike the others, was thinking what if he is actually sick? what if he's sick and we're just ignoring him... This thought tortured him. He didn't know who to believe. But either way he knew he needed to talk to tae and find out the truth. As soon as he entered tae's room he saw tissues scattered everywhere, his bin already overflowing with them. He sighed. This is a lot of effort and wasted tissues just for faking sick. But if he was faking it why would he go through this effort when he won't let anyone in his room anyway? Jimin sighed again as he sat down on the edge of tae's bed, ready for tae to yell at him as soon as he comes back in.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!" Just as he had expected.
"Tae, I-... I just want to talk to you..."Jimin said, standing up from tae's bed. As tae pushed past him, he could for sure smell that pungent smell of sickness. That's when he knew he wasn't faking it. Tae flopped onto his bed and hid under the covers to avoid conversation. Jimin sighed for what felt like the thousandth time today and crouched down next to the bed.

"Tae..." He said, beckoning the sick boy out from underneath the covers, but it didn't work. He reached out and pulled the covers back to see a tear stain down tae's cheek. Hes definitely not faking it.
"Tae, please. Talk to me." Tae just growled with an angry frown, throwing the covers back over his head. "I know you're not faking it..." Jimin said quietly. Tae poked his eyes past the covers to see jimins soft expression, before pulling the covers back more and sitting up slightly with a sniff.
"I'm sorry that the others don't believe you. But I definitely do now. Do you want anything?"
"Just convince the others. That's all I want." Jimin let out a sad smile and nodded.
"I'll try my best..." He said standing up and leaving the room.
