Requested by @wayyy_toosexyy hope you like it!!! I also wanna say I mean no disrespect to the members. This is just fiction, I know they wouldn't be like this really, but this is just what the request is so 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Another late night at the studio. They had all been working so hard to get everything finished in time for their comeback. But one member in particular was working especially hard- Namjoon. He was constantly cooped up in his studio, not even coming home some nights. The truth is, it wasn't his choice to work this hard.

All the other members had gotten so used to Namjoon doing all the work all this time, that they'd started getting lazy. They left him to do everything without realising. So now he was stuck in his studio doing work he wasn't even meant to be doing. His eyes were going square from staring at a screen for so long, and he was exhausted after having just an hour or two of sleep over the past few days. He ended up falling asleep on his desk, only to be woken up an hour later by the ping of his phone. He looked at his phone to see jin had sent him a message.
"Why didn't you come home today?!"
"Sorry I was working all night."
He types out slowly, struggling to hit the right keys.

He shakes the mouse of his computer, and it starts whirring as it turns back on to show the unfinished song. He hits the spacebar to listen to it only for his volume to be way to loud. He winces and clutches his ears, before reaching out to hurriedly turn the volume down. It sounds terrible. He thinks. He pounds his fists angrily on his desk, before standing up and pacing around the room. Why can't I just get it right?

He kept pacing until he heard the sound of a door closing from outside his studio. He looked at the time to see it was time for rehearsal. He sluggishly grabbed his bag, quickly saved the song and shut the computer off before leaving for the dance studio.

"Jesus Christ Namjoon you look awful!" Jin says, more angrily that worriedly.
"Thanks." Namjoon says, sarcastically.
"Did you finish the song yet?" Yoongi asks.
"Nope." Namjoon replies, keeping his answer to a minimum.
"Why?" Yoongi said angrily. He'd been working on it all night how is it not finished?
"Cause I'm terrible at producing? It sounds awful. Maybe you should finish it instead." Namjoon said. It would have sounded much better if Yoongi produced it from the start.
"No I'm not doing your job for you! Just get it done by tomorrow or it's scrapped from the album!" Namjoon sighed and wondered to the side of the room to dump his stuff and start warming up.

He started jogging on the spot and doing star-jumps and stuff to warm up, and his limbs felt so heavy with every movement. He couldn't even jog for a minute without feeling out of breath, and everyone already knew that something was up. It didn't even cross their minds that he'd been so over worked he was burning out. But nonetheless, no one said anything, and just carried on with rehearsal.

"Namjoon what's up with you today? You're even more stiff than you usually are! You need to do lighter steps! We don't want it sounding like there's an elephant in here." The choreographer shouted after the music was stopped for the 7th time already. He sighed and got back in position to start again. He tried so hard to do what he was told but he was so tired that he couldn't control himself. Each step felt so heavy, and he couldn't make them lighter no matter how hard he tried. I should just be kicked out of the group at this rate. I'm terrible at everything.

They were halfway through the dance when black and white spots started to appear in his vision, so he stopped dancing, which caused Jimin to crash into him.
"Namjoon what are you doing?!!!!!!" Jimin shouts at Namjoon who was now on his hands and knees, panting heavily. They all stood around him, expecting some sort of apology or something, but got nothing.
"Are you gonna apologise or what?!" Hoseok shouted. Namjoon took one last shaky breath before collapsing to the floor.
