Requested by anonymous! I hope everything in here is accurate! I'm sorry I don't know much about diabetes but I'll do some research. If something is wrong, please correct me!

Jimin got diagnosed with diabetes when he was about 10. At the time he was devastated, thinking it would mean he wouldn't be able to carry on doing the things he loves, like dancing. The relief he felt when the doctor assured he could still dance. But that still didn't stifle the insecurity he felt around it. When he had to leave in the middle of class to eat something or take insulin, it didn't take long for people to work it out, and he got bullied relentlessly for it.

Years passed, and now here he was, a worldwide idol. Dealing with diabetes while being an idol was hard for sure. It meant having to constantly check his blood sugar levels the moment he got off stage at concerts. The award shows were the worst. He had to slip away at strategic times to check his blood sugar levels. Considering they went on for so long, it was especially hard.

Jimin has been struggling to keep up with his diabetes recently, however. He got too caught up in work, and forgot to take his insulin, or take a break to eat. He was lucky he had the other members there to remind him, but even then, they would forget sometimes too. On this particular day, Jimin woke up late, so skipped breakfast, but he didn't want the other members to get mad at him for not eating anything, since they knew how dangerous that was for him, so he took insulin anyway, even though he knew, that that just made it even worse.

He could feel his hands shaking as he pushed some hair out of his face, praying no one noticed. He gulped down the lump in his throat, confused at he amount of anxiety he was feeling. He was nervous for what was to come, for sure, but he shouldn't be this nervous.
"You ok jiminie?" Taehyung says, reaching up to pinch the skin on the back of Jimins neck.
"Mmhmm" Jimin hummed, internally cringing at the shakiness in his voice.
"You sure?" Tae assured. And Jimin just nodded, staring out the window. His eyes followed as the trees and buildings flew by, becoming almost hypnotised by it. When he tore his eyes away after about a minute of staring, he suddenly got incredibly dizzy. He couldn't help but rub at his eyes let out a moan of frustration at the dizziness.
"You sure your ok Jimin? You don't look it." Tae asked again, suspicious.
"Yeah I'm fine just... tired." Jimin said, using all his strength to stop his voice from shaking.
"Did you check you blood sugar? It could be low."
"I-I just had breakfast, no way it's low." Jimin said firmly.
"What if you took too much insulin?" Tae asked.
"I've had diabetes for years taehyung, I think I'd know if I injected too much insulin." Taehyung was taken aback a little, but he decided to just leave it be, and just keep an eye on him.

For lack of a better word, Jimin felt like shit the whole time. He would try and dance to his full potential and keep up with everything, but he felt so shaky and dizzy it was so hard. He felt exhausted, hungry, and he felt a tightness building behind his eyes.
Why. Why did I take the damn insulin? Why didn't I just eat something? They wouldn't mind being late if it was for my healths sake. Why was I so stupid?
They stopped for a moment and Jimin hobbled over to the side of the room where his stuff is, his legs shaking. He didn't sit down. Why? Because he was secretly hoping someone would notice and ask what was wrong. And, well, he definitely got just that.
"Jimin are you ok? Your legs are shaking. Why are you sweating so much? Here you should sit down." He heard Namjoon speaking around him, too dizzy to look up at the concerned face talking to him. Namjoon pulls a chair over and helps Jimin sit on it.
"What's up? Are you ill?" Namjoon asked crouching in front of him, wiping the sweat off his forehead. He didn't have a fever at least.
"Of course he's ill you idiot look at him!" Jin says, crouching down next to him. No one had clocked it yet. They all seem to have completely forgotten the fact that Jimin even had diabetes. They all just thought he had the flu or something. Until taehyung suddenly remembered what happened in the car. He ran over to them, pushing them out the way.
"HIS BLOOD SUGARS LOW!" Everyone's eyes widened as they realised the crucial information they'd just forgotten.
"Where's his glucose meter? We need to check his blood sugar." Jin said, rummaging through Jimins bag.
"I-I forgot it..." Jimin mumbled, his voice shaking as if he was about to burst into tears.
"It's ok it's ok, let's just get him something to eat." Jin said, hinting to the others to hunt around for any stray snack around. Jungkook pulled a cereal bar out of his bag and handed it to Namjoon, who unwrapped it and handed it to Jimin. Jimin took small nibbles, feeling too anxious to really eat, despite the fact he was incredibly hungry.
"Cmon Jimin you need to eat it." Namjoon encouraged. Jimin broke down in tears. He couldn't help it, his low sugar levels was making him anxious x1000.
"It's ok jiminie. It's ok. Take deep breaths." Namjoon really wanted him to calm down so he could eat, but his anxiety would not go until he ate. It was a vicious cycle.
"Just eat it please jiminie. I want you to get better." They were getting desperate. If his sugar levels get any lower they'd have to inject glucagon. None of them wanted to do that. Even when Jimin would inject his own insulin, they all had to look away.
Suddenly Yoongi came back in (no one had even noticed him leave) with a black bag in his hand. It was a spare glucose meter.
He set it down on the floor next to Jimin, and opened it up. He expertly got it set up, while Jimin continued to nibble on the cereal bar sadly. Yoongi set up the lancet device, and inserted the strip into the machine. He wordlessly took Jimins pointer finger, cleaned it with an alcohol swab and punctured it with the lancet. Yoongi was the only one who was somewhat ok with needles. He wasn't fond of them, but if it was for Jimins safety, he couldn't care less. He squeezes a drop of blood from Jimins finger onto the strip and waited for the reading. He pressed a dry swab on it while he read the results. 58mg/dL. Nearing dangerous.
"Jimin, it's really important you eat right now. Your blood sugar level is nearing dangerously low." Yoongi says, holding his hand gently. Jimin continued crying, but the message had got through, so he started taking bigger bites.
"That's it, keep going, you'll be ok." Yoongi assured.
"I wonder why his blood sugar is so low in the first place..." Namjoon asks, mostly to himself.
"...I didn't have any breakfast." Jimin admits, and everyone looks at him with wide eyes.
"...but I saw you take your insulin this morning..." Namjoon replies.
"I only took it so you all would worry over the fact I didn't have breakfast. I woke up late so I wouldn't have had time."
"Do you know how much danger you put yourself in jiminie..." Namjoon said, not wanting to startle him at all, but still wanting to make sure he understood.
"Yes I know it was so stupid I never should have done it." Jimin said, his voice quivering as his head hung in his hands.
"It's ok, you made a mistake. Now you know for next time. We don't mind being a little late as long as it means your healthy, so get some breakfast next time, ok?" Namjoon said, stroking Jimins soft hair. Jimin nodded, and Jungkook produced some more snacks from thin air, pushing them towards Jimin, who wolfed them down.
After a little while the shaking had stopped, and they checked his levels again and they were at a normal level again.

"Never scare us like that again, ok jiminie?"

Sorry this ones so short. I think I might go back and add some more detail in if I can. It's hard to find the right places to go into more detail sometimes. It's also hard just cause I don't know much about diabetes. Anyway, it's currently half eleven at night here, so I should really be sleeping rn. Please tell me if you want me to edit it in more detail. Cool cool.
See ya in the next one!
