Jimin- allergies

Sometimes I wonder if any of them have allergies. I mean they easily could and we would just never know. Do any of y'all have any allergies? I luckily don't, but I do have an intolerance to Chinese food. I think it's to do with the MSG or something but every time I have Chinese food I get really ill afterwards. it's like an actual thing called Chinese restaurant syndrome 😂 It kinda sucks cause I kinda love Chinese food. 😭 anyway on with the story 😂😂

Jimin had always been cautious of nuts his whole life. After all, that was how he grew up. He associated nuts with shots and horrible allergies reactions, so he stayed as far away as possible. When he first met the members in 2013 the first thing said to them was that he had a nut allergy. He just had to make sure they knew immediately. He also taught them how to use the epipen early on, even though it was very daunting for them. But as long as it meant their Jiminie was safe, they didn't care.

They had always checked everything for traces of nuts, so much that it became a habit for all of them. For years, they had never forgotten.

....until now. Somehow it managed to slip their minds on this one fateful shopping trip. Jimin was looking at the ice cream, craving it. He picked out a tub and put it in the cart, missing one important thing- reading the label.

As soon as they got home, jimin dug into the ice cream, taking big spoonfuls. He hummed happily with a wide smile at how delicious the ice cream was.
"Wah~ so good!" He says, quickly taking another spoonful. He easily could've finished the whole tub if it weren't for Jin reminding him to save some for another time. He sat happily for a little while, the delicious taste of the ice cream still lingering in his mouth. That was until he started to feel off. His smile disappeared as he heard and felt the wheezing with each breath. Hmmm, that's strange... he thought. Maybe I'm getting ill or something...

Nope. It was much worse than that. No more than a minute or so later, his wheezing had gotten so loud that all the other members could hear. And they all looked at him with worry.
"You alright jiminie?" Namjoon asked. Jimin just shook his head and tears started forming. He knew what was happening. He grabbed at his throat with one hand and pointed at it with the other, hoping to get the message across, but it didn't. They all just kept looking at him, trying to work out what the issue was. Suddenly it hit Jin.
"Oh shit!" He shouted and he stood up quickly, running over to jimin.
"What? What's happening hyung?" Namjoon asks in confusion.
"Someone get his epipen! Now!" Jin shouts and that's when it hits everyone else. How could they forget about Jimins allergies? Jungkook quickly sprung up and ran at full speed to the bathroom, and grabbing the epipen from the cupboard. He gets back, but ends up just standing there holding it, in a daze, to scared to use it himself.
"Just give it here." Jin says quickly grabbing it before jamming it into Jimins thigh. Luckily Jimin didn't even feel it, too caught up in the panic of having an allergic reaction. He hadn't had one for ages thanks to them being so cautious all the time.

"It's ok jimin, you'll be ok, just breath for me ok?" Jin says, looking deep into Jimins fear-stricken eyes. Jimin manages to take a few strangled breaths, but unfortunately, due to the amount of ice cream that he had, the one shot from the epipen wasn't enough. It hasn't helped that much, just slowed things down a little.
"Someone call an ambulance, I don't think we can do anything else." Jin said keeping a firm eye on Jimin. Namjoon scrambled through his pocket for his phone and quickly called an ambulance. Everyone else stood back and watched as their friend struggled to breath, getting worse and worse by the second at this point.
"Please come quick..." they heard Namjoon say desperately into the phone in a moment of silence.

Jimin started getting dizzy due to the lack of oxygen he was getting, and it was showing. Jimins panicked expression faded to a tired, spaced out one, and he was starting to sway slightly.
"No, cmon Jimin, stay with us." Jin said, holding him firmly by the shoulders. That was when they could hear the sirens from outside. Namjoon quickly got up and went to the door so he could guide the paramedics to them.
