"Part 2?"

I'm sorry for another authors note, but I feel a need to address something. I also want to just say, if you do this, don't feel guilty, don't apologize, just read this so you understand.

I'm pretty sure for nearly every chapter I've posted, I get at least one comment like "part 2 please??" And I appreciate them. I'm honestly flattered that people like my writing so much they always want a part 2 for everything. Really, I'm so flattered. But, next time you go to comment that same comment, take a moment to think. Think from a writers perspective.
First, would a part 2 make sense?
Think, what would I write about in a part 2 if I was to write one? If you can't think of something, don't comment it. I think you can understand how frustrating it can be to get comments asking for second parts when there's clearly nothing interesting to make from a part 2. It's annoying cause I really want to fulfill your wishes, I really do, but I don't want to write a boring halfhearted chapter just to make people happy. It would be a waste of my time when I could spend that time writing a whole new chapter that is just as good if not better.
Second, remember we writers are real people. We're not robots that just pump out chapters. We get requests to write, we have our own ideas we want to write. But we also have a life aside from writing. We don't have time to write part 2s for everything along with other requests and things.

If you think a part 2 would be good after considering these things, then go ahead and ask. But take these things into account.

Again, please don't feel guilty, or apologize. Just keep it in mind next time. Same thing goes for other books too.

Thanks for being so nice when asking for part 2 too. None of you get angry when I say no so I appreciate that at least.
