Secret Affair

This is a short story po. Hope you will like it.

"Good morning class."
"Good morning Ms. Blythe."
I am a teacher. This is my first year of teaching since fresh graduate pa lang ako at kapapasa ng board exam. I'm quite nervous. Halos kasing edad ko lang ang iba Kong studyante at mas matangkad pa sa akin. Paano naman kasi pinanganak akong pandak na cute. Hahaha.

"Hi ma'am."
" Hello Nile." I replied and smile.
"Tulongan ko na po kayo Ma'am baka mapagod pa kayo.Mabawasan pa ganda nyo. Hahaha"
" I'm fine Nile.Di naman ito mabigat."
"uuwi na po ba kayo ma'am? Ihatid ko na lang po kayo." He offered.
" oo. thanks to your offer Nile pero may susundo na sa akin eeh."
"ah Ganon po ba. Next time na lang."
" haha naku ikaw talaga bata ka."
" I am not a kid anymore ma'am. 18 na po kaya ako."he insisted.
" still bata pa rin. "
" eeh bata nga pero marunong itong mag mahal. "
" aysos lovelife pa inuna mo. Study first ka muna. Ayy sige. Bye Nile. Dito na sundo ko. "

" sino yon? "
" studyante ko po kuya sa ABM strand kuya." sagot ko.
"If look can kill patay na siguro ako."
"bakit naman kuya? Sino naman gagawa non?
" Yong studyante mo. " kuya said flatly.
" Bakit naman gagawin nya yon? "
" Don't mind it. Where do you want to eat? My treat. "
" yehey. Himala ah. Hahaha. Jollibee. "
" para kang bata. Tssk. "
" huwag ka na umangal. Bilisan mo. I'm hungry na kaya kuya." I said and pout.

Sunday ngayon kaya nagsimba ako. I sat in the first row. Di pa nag start kaya nag pray muna ako.
" Hi ma'am. "
Nagulat ako kasi nasa tabi ko na pala si Nile.
" Hello Nile. I never thought na he is a religious kind of person kasi sa maririnig ko sa iba puro kalokohan and negative about him but I can't see to him every time I meet him. He is behave naman.
Taimtim akong nakikinig sa homily ng priest.
" Peace be with you and sabihan nyo Yong katabi nyo na ang ganda /gwapa mo at mahal ka ng Panginoon."
"Peace. God loves you." I said and smile.
"Peace po ma'am. You are the beautiful girl that I admire and I love you." he said pero Di ko rinig Yong huli niyang sinabi kasi kumakanta na.

Nasa Park ako ngayon nakaupo mag isa. Wala lang gusto ko lang mapag isa. Hinintay ko si kuya William dito.
"Ate, bulaklak po para sa inyo." sabi ng bata sabay bigay ng tatlong bulaklak na ROSE.
"Sino nagbigay nito bata?"
"Si Mr. Matangkad po. Di ko alam pangalan." sagot ng bata sabay alis.
"huh? Sino kaya?"
Moments passed.
Why do birds suddenly appear?
Every time you are near.
"Hello kuya. Ayy. Bakit? Kanina pa. Okay." Haist pinaghintay ako tapos di naman pala maka punta. Tumayo na lang ako para umuwi
"Ms. BLYTHE."
lumingon ako and it was Nile.
"Nile? Coincidence. What are you doing here?"
"sinundan po kayo."
"what? "
"never mind po. Bakit wala kayong kasama?"
"may emergency kaya Di makarating. Uuwi na ako."
"ma'am can I spend my time with you?"
"huh?"
Nagugulohan na ako kay Nile. There is something in his eyes that I can't read.
He held my hand and brought in the peaceful place na walang masyadong tao.
"Nile wait. What are you doing?"
"I like you ma'am.No.I think I'm into you. I love you." he confessed. I don't know what to react. Shocked.
"you don't know what are you talking about Nile. Come on. I'm your teacher. I am older than you. You are just confuse."
"I am sure for it ma'am. And I don't care if you are older than me. 3 years lang naman po yan. May iba nga na taas ng age gap nila but they are together." He said seriously.
"Nile, you can't understand the situation. Baka nabigla ka lang. Infatuation lang yan." I try my best to manage the situation. I never thought it will happen to me.
"I am certain to my feelings to you ma'am. Why can't you accept it?"
"Nile. The situation is too complicated. I am your teacher. That is against our code of ethics."
"I understand but it will never stop me  of loving you Ms Blythe. No one can't stop what I feel towards you. I mean it Ms. Blythe. I will pursue you. No matter what." he said full of determination. Nabahala na ako.
"Nile please. Stop it. Nothing will happen."

"You look bother Blythe. What's wrong? Kuya William asked me while we are at the living room.
" Nothing kuya. Pahinga lang po ako. Good night po. "
" Are you sure Blythe? I know you Blythe. Come on. "
" Kasi kuya eeh ahm si Nile nag Confess sa akin. "I said. I thought ma shock si kuya but he is still calm and smile.
" I expect it already. Lalaki ako kaya alam ko. So, what did you do? "I told everything to my elder brother. If you wonder why bakit kami lang ni kuya. Our parents passed away. May mother died when she labored me while si papa naman when I am still in high school at college pa si kuya.
" Just be professional na lang Blythe. Let just see what he will do but never dictate the person not to love you because it is against your code of ethics. Remember that love comes inevitably.

Same as usual I act nothing just happened and I am happy din naman kasi Nile did not do anything. Baka nga infatuation lang yon.

"yieeee." kilig na tukso ng mga co teachers ko habang Nakatingin sa akin.Nag taka ako then I saw a bouquet of flowers on my table. Kinabahan ako. "may secret admirer si ma'am.Sino yan ha?"
"Di ko alam." Tanggi ko.

"Nile please stop it."
"stop what?"
"sending me flowers and the stuff. You make things complicated. Nile I love my job. Ayaw ko mawala sa trabaho because of this."
"I am sorry. I won't do it. But please don't let me stop loving you. I'll behave. I'll be a good boy. I'll study hard. I'll make you proud just like you want to us. Let me love you Blythe. Please. Let me love you. This is the first time I beg for love.
He said in a sincere voice. I can see it to his eyes how sincere he is.
"why me, Nile?" I asked.
"I don't know. I just woke up one day that I am deeply in love with you. I was amazed by your personality. You are too good."
We bid goodbye to each other baka kasi may maka kita sa amin na kilala namin.

"kuya. Busy ka po?"
"May ginawa lang na report. Is there something you want to say?"
"yes po." I told everything to my brother and he listened carefully. I could say that I am lucky having a brother like him
"Did you like him already blythe?"
"I don't know kuya."
"Blythe, you are the only family I have. You are precious to me. I always support you and willing to guide you. I don't care if you like him too. As what I've told you that love will just come your way. You are big enough Blythe. You know what is right and wrong. "

As what he promised Nile do his best. Masaya ako for him kasi he is doing well na. He is one of the active and participative in the class. During night after studying and doing his task as student nag chat siya sa akin or text. He never gets tired saying I love you to me. What happen to us is discreet to everyone except my brother. I know it is risky and there is consequence if someone will know it. But we took the risk.

"kaya pa ba?" he asked me. Nag mountain climbing kasi kami since Saturday and walang klase.
"kaya ko pa." sagot ko kahit hinihingal na.
"Just tell me if Di mo na kaya. We will stop if you can take it anymore para maka rest."
"don't mind me. I'm fine. Malapit naman tayo eeh." we continue trekking.

"woooooooow."
"Did you like the view?"
"yeah."
"if we shout nothing can hear us here."
"sure?"
"yep."
"I Love you Blythe Hope Almonte. " He shouted. He looked at me and hold my hands. He puts on it to his chest.
"Did you hear its heartbeat? It beats only for you Blythe. It shouts your name. I love you so much and I never get tired of telling you that."he said sincerely. Butterflies flying my stomach upon hearing it. Who can't fall for him? He is such a great person. A loving one. How I can stop falling for him? I smiled and shout.
" I love you too, Nile Gray Aragon. "
Nanlaki ang mga mata nya. He can't believe what I say.
"seriously? You love me too?"
I nodded.
"yessssssss."he hugged me and turned around.
" I can't believe it. You love me. This is the best thing happened in my life. "
We savor all the moments that we are together that day. MAY 12,2019.I am official his and he is officially mine. Our day filled of happiness.
I am having a secret affair to my student. I know it is forbidden but I become irrational na. I can't stop what I feel to him. This is the first time I feel this way. A genuine happiness na Di ko na naranasan simula ng namatay parents ko. When we back home I shared it immediately to my kuya. He is not against it. However, he reminded me to be just careful.
Our relationship is not that easy. Hirap itago Yong tunay na feeling sa isat isa every time we are with other people but we made it. Our relationship is not that perfect may away and tampuhan but we manage and handle it. He is more than sweet and caring to me. We wait for the right time na pwede na naman ipagsigawan sa mundo how much we love to each other. As of now our relationship is secret.
