Namjoon felt more disheartened than anything. You haven't replied to his messages for more than a day and he was getting worried. You're just busy, he told himself. But still. He wished that he would get to talk to you before arriving at the venue. It had been sprinkling but the rain completely stopped when the car arrived and Namjoon emerged from it. He adjusted his glasses and watched as paparazzi rushed to them as if they were gold, which let's be honest, they are worth more than that.

Bangtan was nominated for Album of the Year and they would perform at some point during the show. If they win, they would bring home the first Grammy in the K-pop world. He and Yoongi had a long talk last night about how far they've come and how their dreams were slowly coming true. He had never seen Yoongi so alive and happy, except for when he confessed to Jimin. He could see it in the boys too. A few years ago they were just 7 boys with big dreams, now they're the same 7 boys who are just a little bit taller, except Jimin, and wiser.

Dressed up in their customed Dior designed suits, they strutted the red carpet and pose for infinite pictures. They met with some of the more decent interviewers who genuinely care about them as human beings and had a great time chatting. It eased their nervousness, but not by much. They even got a chance to do the infamous slow-mo camera.

The staff directed them inside and showed them to their seats near the front of the stage. They would get a good view of the performances as well as easy access to backstage when they would have to get ready to perform. Other artists began filling inside the place and whenever they would pass the boys, they would exclaim something inaudible and ask them for pictures. They oblige out of respect. When it was someone they admire, they would jump out of their seats, like for Drake, H.E.R, or Halsey. Halsey stuck around to chat and discussed a collaboration. The boys were in awe of her aura and her bald head. Namjoon thought he saw a flash of purple out of the corner of his eye, but there were too many people doing too many things that it confused him. He shook his head and focused on the show.

It started with a big number and they were having the time of their life. In this place, there were cameras and people watching them, but they didn't care. They got up and danced their hearts out, something they could never do in Korea without getting involved in some kind of scandal. Taehyung jumped cutely when he got a fist pump from Nick Jonas and Jungkook and rocking back and forth with his bag of snack bouncing in his hand.

"Honestly, I never want to go back." Yoongi said.

"Yeah," Seokjin chimed in. "They have good weather here."

"We can go to the beach every day and not have to work." Hoseok said. Namjoon could see how tired the boys were. The masks they put on in front of the fans had faded for the moment. In this dark room, they weren't seen as the biggest boy band in the world, but only lovers of music. It would be nice to live here, Namjoon agrees, no pressure, no political stance, no scandals or drama. He would like it here, especially if you were with him.

The staff ushered them backstage where they would get ready for the performance. Once again, Namjoon thought he saw something. "Hyung, are you okay?" Jungkook asked.

"Yeah, I think I just miss Y/N a lot. It seems like I'm seeing her everywhere." he answered. He saw the staff laughing and snickering about something.

"I miss her too. Don't worry, she'll definitely be watching us right now back home." the baby reassured. Namjoon nodded and went to get changed. It felt like a daze when they were performing. They were really on the Grammy stage, performing in front of the people they've looked up to for so long. They were making their country proud, but mostly, they were making their younger selves proud. They took their seats in their harnesses and tousled hair.

The screens changed and it was the moment they've been waiting for, Album of The Year. The video played montages of the nominees and the cheer was deafening when it was for BTS. When the video ended, it wasn't the host that appeared on stage. Instead, it was the flash of purple Namjoon saw earlier. Long purple silk wrapping your body and revealed just a little bit of leg that was enough for Namjoon to freeze and then instantly got mad that you would wear something like this in a room full of guys. Jungkook dropped his popcorn.

"Is that..."

"It is." Namjoon answered.

"Oh my god." Jimin said with mouth hung open. You had a blast watching their reactions to seeing you. But first, you had a job to do. The host announced your identity from somewhere off stage.

"Please welcome Sugarplum. World-class cellist and violinist who is the pride for her country. Many of her albums had reached the top of the charts worldwide. Tonight, she's here to present the award for Album of the Year." The applause grew.

"Hello everyone." Namjoon felt tingles when he heard you speaking, he has missed your voice an awful lot. "I didn't think I would ever get the chance of being here on this stage and I am honored that the Academy has invited me here. The world is changing and it makes me so happy that music has continued to be a bridge between cultures. Now, I've said enough." You opened the envelope slowly. It didn't surprise you to see the winner since that's why you're here in the first place. You quickly looked over at Namjoon and winked at him. "The winner is... Map of The Soul: Persona. Congratulations BTS."

The boys didn't move at first, it hasn't registered that their name was called. You had to wave at them for them to stand up and approach the stage like shy little kids. Namjoon's eyes never left you as he walked up the stairs. He was pulled to you instantly and ignored the person that wanted to hand him the award. His arms looped around your waist and you blushed. "Congratulations, love."

"I can't believe you kept it a secret from me." he smiled. "You look gorgeous, by the way, but that's nothing new."

"You don't look half bad yourself," you said, adjusting his bow tie. "I wanted it to be a nice surprise. I'm very glad the camera recorded your reactions."

"And they're about to record me kissing you." he said before leaning down. The crowd went wild. Millions of people were watching right now and Namjoon would rather kiss his girlfriend than accept the award. Suga took that job and spoke into the microphone their acceptance speech that he had been secretly practicing. Namjoon stood behind the boys with you and felt immense pride and love for the scene he was seeing. This was all he wanted, taking the world with his friends and the love of his life. Once again, Namjoon found your hand and didn't let go of it for the rest of the night.
