Secret Love (A Severus Snape Romance)

Chapter 5: Good Night

[Previously: I had a little fight with my friend Glen. I met Snape in the garden and we hugged.]

"Student out of bed! Student out of bed!" Mr. Filch screams.

I'm wandering the corridors again. Maybe because I can't sleep or maybe because I'm wishing to see Snape. Anyway, I am very frustrated by Mr. Filch who is always so damn annoying and seems like he lightens up every time he sees a student out of bed. Like it's a reward or something, I don't know, this man is very weird.

"I'm sorry, sir, I will go back to bed immediately", I apologize.

I turn around ignoring Mr. Filch's yelling, but then I hear another voice saying: "You don't have to scream and wake up everyone else in this castle, Mr. Filch."

Oh my God, it's Severus Snape. For an unknown reason I'm blushing and my heart is pounding so fast I can hear it inside my head.

I turn around and say: "Professor Snape, what a surprise to see you here again. Why aren't you asleep?"

Mr. Filch seems angry and runs away leaving me and Snape on our own.

"You do not need to know, Y/N. Just go to sleep already. See you in the morning." He's turning around, but I stop him taking his arm.

"Have you ever been in love, Severus?" I ask him.

"You little idiot... Curiosity kills the cat, remember? Stop asking me these silly questions and go to bed!"

He doesn't scare me. Not at all. His voice sounds soft to me and his sharp words don't cut my skin like others'. I've never felt like this before, and I don't know what to do. He surely doesn't seem like a guy who would ever date me... I mean he's a little older than me and he doesn't seem to be romantic at all. So, I have no chances.

But that doesn't stop me from trying.

"You are cute when you're angry", I say, smiling.

"Now that is way over the top! Get to your dormitory, right now, or I will let Dumbledore know about your night walks." He is so mad at me right now. But also he is very very cute.

"Okay, bye then Severus", I say and give him a quick hug.

"Good night." He walks away.

"Good night!" I yell as he goes.

But I am definitely not going to bed. I am going to spy on him.
