jeonghan sat in his room, sobbing into his hoodie, while his parents were arguing downstairs. words and phrases like "we can't even afford this house anymore!" or "it's your fault!" made his heart shatter even more.
they had never been wealthy, they always had to count the money they had and be careful with it, mindless spending wasn't something they could afford. but now, his father lost his job.
his parents where arguing and shouting everyday for weeks now, trying to hold onto their family while they where slowly falling apart.
and he couldn't even help them.
he didn't know how long this was going to go on - the endless shouting and screaming.
he didn't even want to know.
because losing the last bit of hope now wouldn't help him.
so he stood up, wiped his tears with his hoodie and sat down to get started on his homework.
