hansol was sitting in his room, playing with his phone. he was currently listening to a new song of his favorite rapper bang yongguk and quietly humming the tune. nobody had ever been told about his little hobby, it was something only for him. his own little secret.
plus, he was scared to emberass himself, since his american accent often sounded funny when he rapped in korean, and he couldn't be fast enough because of his struggle with the language and the spelling. so he just rapped when he was alone and nobody was listening, like now.although he wasn't completely alone right now, of course. but he had given changkyun and kihyun enough sleeping pills to knock them out for a few hours, they couldn't be listening to him.
or so he thought.
in his career of a criminal, changkyun had often been drugged and his body had built up some kind of defense system against little doses of common drugs like sleeping pills or other ones that knock you out. hansol had given him enough to feel a little bit drowsy and tired, but he wasn't comletely knocked out like his friend, who was softly snoring next to him.
he was listening to hansol humming the lyrics of the song "yamazaki" ad he had to admit, he really liked the accent the boy had. it made the words come out a little bit sharper than from a native korean's mouth, but it fit the song and hansol's style very well. he was indeed very talented and had much potential, but changkyun doubted he would ever get to make something out of it.
at this moment, something banged on the small window above hansol's bed - someone had thrown a stone against it. the boy jumped up i surprise and fear. the apartment was on the fifth floor, how could someone aim so well? there were around ten windows that looked the same as this one, every single one being incredible small, just big enough to brighten the room up so you won't need to have the lights one the whole day.
another stone hit the glass, this time, it was bigger and a little crack spread over the dirty glass. changkyun watched the whole thing through half-open eyes, so hansol won't notice him being awake.
he watched hansol panicking for a few seconds, before he climbed onto the bed and looked out of the window, he seemed to see someone.
seconds later, he was already running out of the room and changkyun could hear his loud footsteps disappearing downstairs and the door slamming locked.it was time to do something - whoever that guy was who had distracted hansol, changkyun was thankful. the thief quickly got himself free from the handcuffs and stood up. he nearly fell down again, but the last bit of the effects of the pills left really quickly and just a minute later, he was already fully functioning again and ready to take kihyun and get out of here.
he lifted up his hyung and went for the door......only to get it slammed into his face. he fell butt-first onto the floor, kihyun had it softer, he fell onto changkyun's stomach. due to the pills, he just groaned and rolled off to continue his slumber on the floor.
"what the fuck? did your mother not teach you to knock before enter-"
the curse got stuck in changkyun's throat when he looked up, only to stare at chan.
the boy's face was covered with fresh bruises and tears were running down his cheeks, his hands shaking and his feet wobbly. he nearly collapsed onto the floor, but he was able to grab the doorknob and steady himself again.
after catching his breath, he blinked away the tears and finally noticed that changkyun was awake and staring at him from the floor like he had just seen a ghost."y-you are not slee-sleeping?",chan whispered, sniffling in-between.
"no", the boy on the ground simply answered, not knowing what else to do.
changkyun was bad with handling feelings of other people, his mind went blank whenever he was facing something like this. so he just awkwardly sat there, waiting for chan to either calm down or completely break.the second thing eventually happened after a few minutes of awkward-shocked silence, chan fell to the floor and just sobbed quietly, while changkyun sat there, panicking.
he could either take the opportunity and just run, or stay here and help chan. question was, did he even know how to help?
the question was answered for him, when chan lightly grabbed his hand and hugged the older. he didn't even think about who he was hugging, he needed someone right now and there was no one else around...
and that's how changkyun's escape-plan got him into a dead-end.
he was sitting on the floor of hansol's room, hugging a crying chan, kihyun sleeping next to them.
now that's how a real gangster does it, right?
jihoon sat on his bed, staring at the message on his phone's display. it was already eight p.m. and he should be getting everything ready for tomorrow like seokmin, who was busy running around their room, but the short boy just couldn't bring himself to do anything.
not until he got an answer, that much was clear.
littlebro<3:
i wont be coming home today, something came up.but...
please dont worry about me, okay?
jihoon couldn't just not worry - he had heard chan getting beaten downstairs, of course. just...why did the younger not come to them? why did he choose to go?
deep down, he already knew the answer, but he just didn't want to accept it.
chan didn't want them to worry about him, so he hid his bruises and left the house. he was always trying to help his hyungs, not caring about himself....
--------------
now that became dark too quick....
btw, look up the three-member boygroup "M.O.N.T", they are really good and cute crackheads with some serious rap-skills!
thanks,
