The Blind Marriage

Chapter 6

Shuanghui's POV

I let out a yawn quietly reading the information I was given, Drinking a coffee in the kitchen where my mother was baking, She sat on the table opposite me by the time I was halfway through, I glanced up at her and she had a worried expression on her face "what's wrong Mother"

She shook her head at me "you just worry me Shuanghui, when Xiao Tang brought you home yesterday, you looked so bad, what happened"

I looked down again at the information "nothing, I just need to find something out, I'm  fine"

she let out a sigh "you don't seem fine my son, I am worried about you, I hope you are not hiding anything from me"

I put the papers down and gave her a soft smile "I'm not, don't worry mother" I stood up from the table "I just need to confirm something, maybe I'm not the one hiding something from you, just not telling you something that's hidden by someone else" I turned and walked away and to the old man's office

I shut the door behind me locking the door before searching the place, one draw to his desk was locked so I searched for a key which I found tapped to the bottom of his penholder, there was some nonsense in there that I didn't seem important, then I spotted a bunch of letters, I took to take the contents of the draw before locking the draw and leaving the room, I pick up the information I left in the table then headed back to my room to finish reading it

it was lunchtime by the time I had finished reading, I let out a sigh and lay down, Kuanwo walked into the room "good morning brother"

I glanced over at him "it's afternoon" he just smirked, I sat up rubbing my head before frowning and looking at my hand "wheres the ring"

he pointed to the table "you were going to throw it away so I took it from you" he chimed happily "you have a cute husband by the way" with that he earned a kick he dodged it twice but not the third

"let's go eat then I want you to go out, so you can go home" I walked out leaving him holding his side from the kick to the ribs

Mengrui's POV

I was having lunch with Dianfa, he was looking at me with concern since I wasn't eating and just staring into the distance "Mengrui!" he huffed out in a raised voice

I looked at him and hummed softly in response to which he replied with a sigh and pointed to my food, I frowned but ate some least that was till he questioned me

"Mengrui, who is your wife?" I froze holding the sandwich half in the air

"w. wife" I stuttered out before shaking my head placing the food down and letting out a painful laugh "wife, would you believe that" Dianfa gave me a worried confused look

he tilted his head to the side in confusion "did you not get married yesterday?"

my face resumed a blank expression before nodding "yes, but I did not gain a wife, I gained an" I paused, I was hesitant, I had no interest in anyone so I didn't care who I married but this was a bit of a shock "husband" I breathed out quietly, the look on Diana's face told me he heard

"A man" he shouted "you married a man" he continued, a few heads turned as I slapped my hand over Dianfa's mouth to shut him up

He sat there staring at me and I let out a long sigh "He's the son of my mother's rivalling company"

I opened my mouth to say something else just as a young girl with long brown wavy hair, deep brown eyes, a little shorter than me, ran over her eyes were glassed over like she was about to cry, "Kong Ge!" she gasped out

I stood to my feet and looked at her "what's wrong Meili, why do you look so upset" I said with worry

"is it true?" she gasped out before standing up straight "are you getting married" he eyes filled with tears as my face paled

"He's not getting married you, silly little girl, he's already married" Dianfa chimed in forcing me to shoot a glare at him

"Dianfa!" I hissed out, I wasn't mad that he told her I was married it was that he called her a silly little girl, but before I could apologise to her she had turned and ran sobbing her eyes out "Meili!" I called after her

I went after her and Dianfa trailed after me after grabbing our stuff, I managed to grab her and hugged her "Please don't cry Maili" I whispered to her

Shuanghui POV

I frowned, after I left home I did something stupid, I came to see my husband, by this time it was either lunch or study session at this school, and I pulled up on my bike, I cut the engine and leaned forward watching, he was talking to someone, must be his friend,  he was slightly taller then Mengrui, even though they were sat down

I sat up when a young girl came running up to them, he stood up looking worried, something was said but since I'm so far I couldn't hear them, then she turned and ran, he looked at the boy he was talking to a shocked and hurt expression seemed to fill his facial expression

I frowned as he ran after her, once he engulfed her in a hug I drove off, I don't know why but I didn't want to see that, I headed to Tang's house

I banged on his apartment door, he lived in this shabby run-down apartment, it was small and everything but the bathroom was in the same room, when he didn't answer quick enough I repeatedly banged my fist against the door stopping once my fist misses the door and skims past Kuanwo's face

"Woah brother, what got you so upset, you were fine when we left your house" he walked back inside

I followed after him, he was only wearing a towel so I disturbed his shower, I slumped down on his couch and leaned my head back "so how was your little meeting with your husband" he hummed out only getting a groan in response, by the time he leaned over the back of the couch staring at me "what happened?"

I glared up at him "nothing"

he hummed and opened the curtains causing a blinding light to shine through and right in my face, I sat up covering my face with my hands "why would you do that" I growled out

"I'll do worse if you don't tell me what's wrong"

I groaned "Nothing wrong, I didn't speak to him, so why would there be anything wrong"

"Why didn't you speak to him?"

I looked at him as if the answer was obvious "my bike, the old man said if I did anything to him then I would lose my bike again"

he gave me a look, a look that called bullshit now tell me the truth, I rolled my eyes and let out a breath "he was already talking to someone so I didn't go over, then I left after he hugged someone, nothings wrong see"

he stared at me then a grin spread on his face as if he just figured something out "you're jealous"

I growled "I am not jealous, why the hell would I be jealous, I don't even know him"

"ok moody, let's say your not jealous-"I'm not jealous" mhmm shut up, let's say your not jealous and I went up to him and gave him a kiss what would you do" I didn't tell him what I'd so, I kinda had no control of my body and I swung my fist at him and it collided with his jaw, he stumbled and smirked "point is proven, oh by the way you have work tonight, and tomorrow, don't make me lose customers again like last week" with that he walked out

I flopped back on the couch and grumbled, taking a nap till I get called by Tang to come to work
