Dianfa POV

I hopped up the steps to Mengrui's house knocking on the door, Mrs Kong opened the door and I smiled at her "good morning Ayi, Is Mengrui in"

She smiled back and nodded "yes he is, I was just about to go and wake him, he's usually up by now and breakfast is ready"

I smiled stepping into the house and pulling my shoes off "I can go and get him up for you" I said making my way up the stairs, she said something else but I didn't quite hear her, so I just opened Mengrui's door, freezing at what I see, Mengrui had his face against Shuanghui's chest who was lay on his side with his arms around my best friend, Xing curled up at the bottom of the bed between their feet he lifted his head and barked at me knocking me from my shocked state "what the hell" I practically screamed after my moment of shock

Mengrui and he both shot up in a seated position alarmed, Shuanghui frowned looking at me rubbing his forehead "what are you shouting for" Mengrui said as he looked at me, he then looked back at Shuanghui "oh right" he mumbled

"Morning" I heard the older man grumble as he got up and out of the bed moving towards the window, obviously not happy about being disturbed

Mengrui's eyes didn't fall from watching Shuanghui move until the man stopped, he then looked back at me and I was frowning "why are you here so early, what time is it anyways"
"Me early?" I questioned, "what about him!" I said with a slightly raised voice, pointing at Shuanghui

Mengrui got up pushing me back out of his room shutting the door behind us "Stop raising your voice" he grumbled, "he doesn't matter right now, what time is it anyway?"

"Doesn't matter" I had calmed my voice and pointed at the door "that punk in there was in your bed cuddling you and you say it doesn't matter, I came because I was concerned about my best friend, my brother since the phone got cut off yesterday and you were not answering after and I couldn't get ahold of you, why are you still with him?" I questioned with a frown running a hand through my hair

"Long story short" he started "I got kidnapped yesterday shortly after you left, locked in a house with him until the next day, brought to his parent's house where ma and pa were waiting, we spent Christmas with them and he followed us home, well actually he brought me back"

"Why didn't you call?" I mumbled remembering the conversation I had with Kuanwo

He yawned shaking his head "I lost my phone for a bit, then it was also dead so I forgot to charge it and call you back"

The bedroom door swung open "Xing's hungry" were the only words he said as the dog bounced out of the room and down the stairs, he completely ignored me keeping his eyes on Mengrui

"Let's go," Mengrui said before glancing at Shuanghui "I need to eat something"

Shuanghui's POV

He looked back at me before heading down the stairs, watching him as he disappeared, I sighed heading back into the bedroom scratching the back of my neck before tracing my finger over the leather string down to the ring hanging on it, I slid the necklace off and took the ring from it and holding it in the palm on my hands, Sighing as I lay back onto the bed "Jealousy is going to be the death of me" I mumbled squeezing the ring as I look towards the door

Mengrui's POV

I frowned eating my food, Dianfa staring at me as mum ignored us watching the TV "you're going to answer me once you finish"

I glanced at him "I already told you, I have nothing else to explain"

"You told me why he was here" a frown fixed on his face "but that doesn't explain why he was in the same bed as you when there is an extra room here"
