Mengrui's POV

Kaihan was smirking as he watched us, I put the keys in my jacket pocket "why does he have your phone?" He asked with amusement in his tone

I smiled and pointed up at Shuanghui "your Didi is one jealous man"

All eyes turned to him at that point, some with raised eyebrows in question, he cleared his throat pointing behind him "I'll umm go and get Xing" he paused for a moment "and the phone" he smiled before quickly turning away and rushing off out the living room and up the stairs

I clench a fist and stretch out my hand a few times hoping to relax it a bit from the strong grip it was in "who was he jealous of?" I looked up at Kuanwo who asked and tilted my head slightly "well?"

"My best friend, Dianfa" I turned to look at Shuanghui as he stood by me again Xing cradled in his arms as he struggled to hold the slightly overlarge puppy as it squirmed in his hold, I frowned not seeing my phone

"It's in my pocket" he mumbles running his fingers through the fur on top of Xing's head to calm him down, his father walked past hand over his nose and mouth grumbling about something that I didn't quite catch as he left the room

"One more thing before you leave," Kuanwo said getting up from his seat "where are your rings?"

I gave him nothing but a confused look as Shuanghui glared at him "you know where it is, and if I mess up my tie again someone will have to waste more time fixing it again"

A grin spread on Kuanwo's face as I looked up at Shuanghui "see I told you a tie would work" Kuanwo said towards Kaihan who sat in thought before speaking

"You're right, I knew he couldn't do tie but I didn't think of that" he let out a small laugh

Shuanghui had a slightly frustrated look as he hissed them a warning "shut it before you regret it"

Juanshou shook his head at the two boys "your plan failed and yet you both still seem to make jokes about it, you are asking for a beating. Anyways it's time to go" he spun his key on his finger kissing the woman next to him on the cheek before getting up

Mum smiled at Rongshu as they both hugged each other "thank you for having us over for Christmas Rongshu it was lovely"

She shook her head and smiled "it's no problem, we are family now after all thanks to our husbands and it's always enjoyable to have family around"

Mum smiled with a nod "yes that is true"

I looked at Kuanwo as he moved away from Shuanghui a grin on his face as Shuanghui nudges him away with his leg "go home already" he hissed at him, I could see the blush on his cheeks but I chose not to mention it

Kuanwo grinned before turning to Rongshu and bowing "thank you for having me over ma'am" he grinned he knew she didn't like him being formal and the wave of hand dismissing his thanks said enough "see you soon" he said as he waved and walked away

Rongshu shook her head at him while waving a dismissive hand as he left, I'll be in the car" Juanshou said before walking past

Ma and Pa also bowed their heads in thanks to Rongshu hugging ma again before they leave, I went to follow after Juanshou but I was stopped by the strong grip that held onto my hand "I'll come back tomorrow Ma" he spoke as I struggled to get my hand free Xing barked at me

"Are you going to make it back this time Didi" I heard Kaihan say in a teasing tone, Shuanghui rolled his eyes and walked out and I followed since he still had a tight grip on my hand, I think it's gone numb again

I waved at Shuanghui's family as he opened the car mum taking Xing into the car before he shut the door back, "get them home safe gege" he said tapping the side of the car, Juanshou stuck his hand out with a thumbs up
