Chapter 12

Mengrui's POV

I sigh as one of the twin's drives, the one with the brushed back hair turned in his seat "how old are you?" his Elegant tone breaks the silence in the car

I blink and look at him "I'm 21"

"young" he chimed a smile present "so smart too, what did my idiot didi do, to get lucky enough to marry you"

I frown didn't Shuanghui say it was because of their old man "nothing that needs to be mentioned" I huffed out, I don't like being questioned

he turned back around and faced his brother "same attitude as Didi, secretive"

the other nods in agreement "just younger smarter and looks.... how do I put it, pretty, unlike our ex-army rough boy " he said in reply

I sigh and look out the window as they talk, hopefully, able to ignore the nonsense of the Li twin's chatter.

Shuanghui POV

after I got back to the room they were gone, mumbling as I head to my bike medication in hand "fine I won't help!" I grumbled in irritation, I hope on my bike and head straight for Kuanwo's apartment, once I got there I went to knock on the door but it swung open before I got a chance to knock

he looked at me and tilted his head "husband out of the hospital?" he said in that teasing tone, I glared at him, he shuffled on his feet before walking up to me and patting my shoulder "well I'm going to work like a normal person, but you feel free to stay as long as you like" he said before walking away

I head inside slamming the door behind me, slumping down on the couch as I kick the coffee table "what the hell did I do wrong" I growl out in frustration, I lay down on the couch and stare at the ceiling

Juanshou POV

my brother pulls up outside the college and there was a young boy there probably the same age as Mengrui, he looked bigger built muscle wise and slightly taller, a confused look him his eyes, I and Kaihan got out of the car and I opened the door for Xiao Kong "we have arrived Xiao Kong"

"We should find Shuanghui, he's going to be mad at us," Kaihan said with his childish grin

I let out a chuckle "of cause he will be, but he won't be of any help and he will live with us kidnapping the kid for a little while" I smiled to my childish older brother before standing behind Mengrui who had just hugged the confused boy "your friend?" I asked already knowing the answer as Mengrui nods

the kid looked at me then back to Mengrui "who's this?" his voice was deep compared to Mengrui's

Kaihan made his way over childishly pushing me over slightly "I'm Li Kaihan, and this is my younger twin brother Li Juanshou, we are Shuanghui's older brothers

"Shuanghui?" he mumbled questioningly to himself, it clicked with his next statement "that punk that stayed with you last night?"

Mengrui nodded to him as my brother shuffled and swayed side to side humming softly obviously distancing himself in his mind which made me smile "these two seemed more reliable than him so I left with them"

the kid put his hand out "pass me the discharge forms, I want to see if he was telling me the truth about the food poisoning"

Mengrui frowned, he scratched the back of his neck "I don't have them, Shuanghui has them, I got food poisoning, I thought it was the soup I had at the meeting but that wouldn't have done the food poisoning...."

he started to ramble a bit so I cut him off placing my hand on top of his head "we can take you to get the discharge forms, or we can just bring them down later, we still need to discuss what my father has done" I say kindly

Kaihan walked to the car when Mengrui started rambling, coming back with the company information's holding them out to Mengrui "your notes are helpful, but I do hope we can sort this out ourselves without a lawsuit" Kaihan smiled

Mengrui batted my hand away taking the papers "I don't need the discharge forms, so just throw them, and I can deal with the company myself I don't need help" he turned and walked away, his friend followed him closely behind.

I look at my brother "we only have three days Ge, and as much as he says he doesn't need help, I think we need to help him"

Kaihan nodded tossing me the car keys "yeah, plus he's cute, dad may be an idiot but he knows how to pick someone perfect for Didi" he chimes gleefully "this might be a good thing, apart from the whole bad deal with the company father has done"

I nod walking back to the car "what was the father doing to be driving the company to bankruptcy, and now dragging this innocent kid and his family who are top in the business down with him, we need to find out"

Tang Kuanwo's POV

I walked into my apartment, the usual darkness in the dimly lit rooms just how I've liked it, it's calming to me, I make my way to the living area seeing two feet poking over the arm, I cough to make my presence known but he doesn't even flinch so a mischievous grin spreads to my lips "I thought you were helping them"

He sat up, a dark glare in his eyes "if they wanted even a bit of my help they wouldn't have left me at the hospital, they don't need me" he growled, despite the angry tone I could tell he wasn't angry, he was hurt and upset

I sighed shaking my head, I notice the medication packet picking it up "what's this, are you ill too?"

He looked at me, he let out a sigh looking down at his hands "they're Mengrui's, I went and signed the discharge papers and got his medication, he was gone so were my brothers when I got back, what did I do wrong?"

I bite the inside of my cheek, he's hurting and I can't help him with that, I smirk in an attempt to lighten his mood "why don't you deliver them home to your beloved one"

his fist clenched tightly as he scowled at me "do you want a beating"

I hold my hands up in mock surrender "fine I'll take them to him" my teasing tone found its way back to my voice "it might even be fun to make such a cutie take them, I'm guessing he won't be willing if he leaves them behind"

Shuanghui dove off the chair snatching the bag from my hand "Don't touch him don't go near him without my permission"

I smirk at him as he stormed past me and out of my apartment "you do like him" I hum quietly to myself

Shuanghui's POV

I snatched the medication from Kuanwo growling as I walked out "he better not touch Mengrui" I went home grabbing a quick shower and changing clothes, I was about to make my way out of the front door only to find my mother stood there with her arms crossed

"where do you think you are going Shuanghui" she demanded, her eyes staring at me "your brothers are here for three days you should help them with the problem that your father has caused"

I frown "they refused my help when they left me at the hospital, if my dear brothers needed me so badly then they know how to use a phone" I take my wallet out handing it out to her "take this, then you have proof I'm not going to go to some club to get drunk, I don't want to be here right now, and I have something to give someone then I'm going to Kuanwo's place" I gently pushed past my mother and got on my bike driving off to Mengrui's house.

It started to rain on the way there, I pulled up to the house taking off my helmet as I walked up to the door knocked on it, I waited for a moment before the door swung open, to a shocked Kong Meirong, I shuffled lightly on my feet, "Hello Ayi... I have something to give Mengrui"

She was still a little shocked before moving away from the door "come in, join us for dinner" his sweet voice sounded through the rain
