Protecting Mr. Wimp
Chapter 8
"I'm starving, Gina!" Michael groaned.
"Shut up" She muttered.
Now, she wouldn't have been grumpy if everything would've been going her way, but Michael being the whiny four-year-old he is, decides to go to the carnival when his life is at stake. Seriously, who does that? But unfortunately for Gina, she had to follow him there, just because he had asked his dad to pay her more. Sometimes, she wished she was as wealthy as the others.
She's still mad at the fact that he didn't let her know that he can get them out of the forest, instead he joked around like it was a happy Saturday morning. He can die any moment even if she turned her back on him for a second, but he acts like they're just going for a walk in the park.
She followed him through the forest and they made it to the road. Her eyes widened at the sight in front of her. Shinning brightly from the light of the sun was a black Lamborghini. While she was gaping at the car, Michael grabbed her hand and tugged her towards the vehicle. It seemed as if he was excited to see the car.
He walked over to the driver's side and the door opened, Logan stepping out from the car. They both pounded fists and grinned at each other. Gina moved her eyes from Michael to Logan, furrowing her eyebrows at them and looking confused as ever.
When Michael realized that Gina still existed he walked over to Logan's side and gave a pat on his shoulder, now grinning at Gina. "Gina, this is my best friend Logan and Logan that's my moody new friend-type-thing, Gina"
Logan grinned at her, "'Sup!"
She scowled at Michael than gave a small smile to Logan and said, "Hey"
Michael looked amusedly at Gina than at Logan,“Okay, now that we know each other. Let's go" He grabbed his keys from Logan's hand and he pouted, Michael chuckled and got into the driver's seat, Logan sat shot-gun and Gina took the backseat. As soon as everyone was inside, Michael sped off.

They pulled over at the carnival and Gina jumped out of the car, happy to finally get some peace. Logan and Michael together were the most annoying people ever, the chatted all the way, singing horribly and laughing like there's no tomorrow. She thought she'll get a migraine if she had to spend any longer, but gladly, the ride came to an end.
Once they were all out of the car, Logan and Michael chatted all the way to one of the game stalls. It was knock-out the cans. The man in charge of the game was busy at the moment, he was grinning deviously at a little girl that was innocently eyeing a fluffy white teddy bear.
Gina's eyes softened at the sight of the little girl, she reminded her so much of her sister. Smiling slightly, she started walking towards the girl, completely ignoring Michael and his friend. They can talk all they want.
Michael saw Gina abandon him and his friend to go over to some little girl, but she was smiling! Gina hardly ever smiled, so this is a rare occasion. Maybe the carnival thing did work out for them, she looks like she'll have fun. But who's the little girl? Does Gina know her or is she just randomly walking over to some strange kid?
Snapping out of his thoughts, he nudged Logan and pointed at Gina, "What's she doing?"
Logan furrowed his eyebrows at her direction, "I have no idea"
