Perfection

Jack and Nikki both leave the room and walk back out into the waiting room, they walk towards the exit hand in hand both smiling to themselves, neither of them could get over the fact they are having another baby and have just seen their baby for the first time on the screen.
As they leave the unit Nikki stops dead and take a breath before walking extremely slowly almost with her legs pinned together.

Jack stops and looks at her, "What is wrong with you?" He chuckles.
"I need to pee, my bladder isn't that good since I had Poppy" Nikki mumbles trying to focus on not wetting herself.

Jack smirks and rolls his eyes, "Excuses, excuses... don't blame our daughter" He smiles.
"Bloody child!" Nikki huffs as the urge to pee comes more urgent.

Nikki slows down more and then Jack suddenly scoops her up and carries her, "Jack put me down!" She panics holding onto him tightly.
"You need the toilet... then let me carry you there" Jack smiles as he carries her to the toilet which is all the way down the bottom of the corridor, when he gets to the toilets he places her down to her feet and Nikki dashes off into the toilets.

Two minutes later Nikki emerges back from the female toilets and smiles happily at Jack, "Thank's for that" Nikki grins taking her bag back off Jack.

They both head back to Jack's car and get inside and sit there for a moment, Nikki gets the scan photo out of her bag and looks at it, she smiles lovingly at it and rests it in her lap as she puts her seat belt on at the same time as Jack.
Jack places the keys in the ignition and then starts the engine, "Ready for work?" Jack questions and all Nikki responds with is a nod as she is in too more ore of her own baby.

Soon they arrive at the Lyell and they both head straight in and straight to the staffroom and they have arrived just before their tea break, "Thomas is going to kill us, we're late, and we go straight on break?" Nikki smirks.

"Good thing we work in a mortuary" Jack smirks.
Nikki rolls her eyes and hits Jack's arm playfully, "Oh stop it, you know what I meant" She replies.

Nikki walks over to the kettle and picks it up before filling the kettle and placing it back in the stand and turning it on, "So, Dr. Alexander, baby number two?" Jack flirts as he holds her waist and pushes her carefully against the work surface.

"Yes, baby number two" Nikki smiles.
Jack places his hand on her stomach and smiles at her more, "Can't believe it" He smiles.
"I know, eight weeks, every organ in its place and bones are beginning to replace cartilage and baby's fingerprints have started to form" Nikki smiles as she places her hand on top of his.

Jack smiles and nuzzles against her neck before kissing her neck also, "I love you" He mumbles. Nikki giggles and kisses him back before turning around to pour the kettle into the two coffee cups.
Once Nikki has poured them their drinks they go and sit on the sofa's in the staffroom together, Jack takes a sip of his coffee before placing it down on the coffee table and then he turns and looks at Nikki, he takes her cup of tea off her and places it down on the coffee table. "Jack, I was drinking that" Nikki frowns.

Jack laughs and pushes her back onto the sofa, "Jack what are you playing at" Nikki says looking at him.
"I love you" Jack smiles again.
"So you keep telling me" Nikki laughs as she tries to sit up but Jack pushes her back again and then rolls her top up. "Woah, Jack... no, not here..." She panics.

"Calm down will you Niks" He chuckles.
Jack smiles and sits on his knees before leaning forwards pressing a kiss on Nikki's stomach, "Hello baby. I'm your Daddy and this..." He mumbles against Nikki's stomach, Jack grabs Nikki's hand and places her hand on her stomach, "...this is your Mummy" Jack smiles and he glances up at Nikki to see her eyes glazing over with tears.

She smiles lovingly at him and blinks away the tears that have formed in her eyes, she bites her lip to stop herself from crying, "Mummy is going to be keeping you nice and safe, and warm for the next few months until you're ready to meet us" Jack smiles looking up at her and then looks back down and kisses her stomach, his lips slightly lingering longer this time.

There is a cough from the door and both Jack and Nikki stop and look up in complete shock, "Am I interrupting something?" Clarissa smiles as she looks at the two, Nikki sits herself up and pulls her top down and clears her throat.
"God, no" She replies before pushing Jack away and picking up her cup of tea and drinking it.
