First Date?

Later that evening Jack and Nikki are lay in bed together, Nikki is cuddled up to Jack with her head semi-resting on his bare chest while he draws random patterns with his finger on her shoulder furthest away from him.
"What you thinking about?" Jack questions curiously as he continues to stroke her arm.
"You always ask this Jack, Can't I just lay in silence with the man I love?" Nikki asks as she glances up at him.

Jack looks down at Nikki and smiles before kissing her head, "So come on spill! what are you thinking about?" 
"Work..." Nikki replies and Jack rolls his eyes.
"You shouldn't be thinking about that" Jack speaks.
"What else am I meant to think of?" Nikki quizzes.
"Me" He replies and Nikki rolls her eyes in complete disbelief at him.

Nikki rolls onto her side with her head still resting on Jack, "I don't actually have time to think, my brain consists of work and the girls... oh and you ...occasionally" She smirks and Jack looks at her in shock and pokes her in the ribs causing Nikki to squirm and shriek.

"Oh, I only get thought of occasionally?" Jack asks as he pokes to tickle he sides again but Nikki sits up and bats his hands away.
"Yeah, In my dreams where we are childfree and youthful" She giggles as she leans forward and kisses Jack.

Jack chuckles and kisses Nikki back before slipping his hand on her hip and strokes his gently. "Jack, don't" She smirks as she feels him messing with her waistband.
"Come on Nik, just a bit of fun, no kids to interrupt us" Jack smiles as he begins to kiss down her neck.

Nikki rolls her eyes at him as she feels his hand move under her waistband so his hand sits on her hip, "Jack, not tonight, Can we just sleep. I'm so tired" Nikki speaks as she removes his hand and smiles.
"Okay, tomorrow?" He asks and she rolls her eyes and hits his chest playfully knowing exactly where his brain is today.

"Oh we don't even get to plan a weekend in advance, never mind what we get up to in bed" Nikki replies as she moves back to resting her head on his chest.
"Don't get me wrong but I love the girls so much, but I miss it just being us" Jack replies kissing the top of her head again.

He then moves his hand back to her shoulder and slowly makes random shapes with his index finger against her smooth skin. "But it's never really been us has it?" Nikki answers with her eyes closed. Nikki thinks for a minute before responding again, "...Unless someone is on had to have Poppy and Maddison."
"I don't get you" He speaks.

Nikki opens her eyes and places up at him before kissing his bare chest, "oh Jack... we've never dated, we never really ever had just us before Poppy came along."
"Oh, I get you now" Jack speaks with a chuckle.

She lies against his chest for a little while longer before moving slightly and remaining in silence, "Okay, let's play a little game" He speaks after a few minutes in comfortable silence.
"No Jack, I'm not in the mood" She huffs dramatically moving the covers slightly.
"Not like that Nik, Just to see how well we know each other" Jack smirks.

Nikki smiles happily at the idea and moves off his chest and lies down on her side facing Jack, he then shuffles down to join her and smiles as they entangle their legs in one another. He smiles as he pulls her closer to his body and then kisses her on the lips. "So... what do you look for in a man?" Jack speaks as he moves away from her lips and looks into her eyes.

"Irish" She smirks simply.
"Anything else?" Jack replies running his hand up and down her hip.
"He's got to be intelligent, impulsive but not too impulsive, instinctive, oh he must be very, very very... attractive. quick-witted, he must possess the humility to admit his mistakes... a little bit daft, brilliant with children... especially two little girls and he must love me," She explains with a slight chirp in her tone as she basically describes Jack in a nutshell.

Jack smiles and attempts to lean in for a quick kiss from her but Nikki stops him and places his finger against her lip, "No, we don't kiss on first dates" Nikki chuckles playing along with the game. "Okay, so what do you look for in a woman?" She adds.

Jack thinks to himself for a while before responding; "Well I'm hard to please, she's got to be Inquisitive, passionate, A doctor... but not of medicine, I'm talking pathology... oh she must be curious and open-minded. Drop-dead gorgeous is a must-have, A definite must is she has to be half South African... Good with children especially two wee monsters... And love me no matter what."

She giggles and steals a kiss from him, "hmm that sounds hard to find, very particular aren't you" she smiles.

Jack lies there looking at her not once taking his eyes off her, "I love you so much," he mumbles causing Nikki to blush and giggle.

"I can see us getting along very well Mr. Hodgson" Nikki smirks as she attempts to kiss him but Jack stops her and places his finger against her mouth.

"Hmm, you said we shouldn't kiss on our first date" Jack whispers moving close to her so they're almost completely touching.

"Well I want to kiss you" she smiles happily and then grabs his hand and moves it so she can kiss him.
"Ruining the game" he smirks and Nikki rolls her eyes with a huff at him.

They both laugh at each other before they lean in to kiss each other, "Knew you couldn't resist" She smirks and cups his cheek as she lets go of his hands.
