Extended Family

Once the funeral is over the entire family gather in a pub which is situated down a country lane, Poppy has finally woken up after snoring her head off in the church which embarrassed both Jack and Nikki as people were looking at them. "She snores just like you" Jack chuckles as he brings some drinks over to the table they are sat at in the private function room. 

"I do not snore thank you very much, Jack!" Nikki protests with a frown. 
"You snore like a trooper and you know it" Jack chuckles again watching Nikki getting angry with him. 
"I do not!" She replies.
"Do!" He smirks.
"Do Not!" She huffs rolling her eyes with annoyance. 
"Do, Do, Do, Do" He smirks getting close to her face. 
"Don't, Don't, Don't!" She frowns flicking his nose. 

Jack smirks and kisses her cheek but she pushes him away, "Do times infinity, no returns!" He laughs with an amused look on his face. 
"So childish Jack!" Nikki smirks. 
"So childish Jack!" He copies and bobs his tongue out at her and she smacks his leg playfully. 
"Jack you're not funny... this is a funeral, not a kids birthday party" Nikki frowns. 

Nikki giggles slightly as Jack leans in to kiss her, "I know... but you know what's worse than mucking around at a 'serious' funeral?" He smirks and kisses her on the lips. 
"What's that then?" She smirks as she kisses him back. 
"Having sex at a funeral..." Jack whispers seductively against her ear. 
"Jack... we can't... we have Poppy here," Nikki says covering Poppy's ears as she is sat on Nikki's lap eating some salt and vinegar crisps. 

Jack chuckles and strokes her knee and looks at his hand as he speaks, "Such a shame... something I've never done."
"What! Had sex at a funeral?" Nikki replies in a hushed tone with her hands still over Poppy's ears. 

He nods with a smirk and strokes her knee, "Jack Hodgson... you're impossible" She laughs and rolls her eyes before removing her hands from Poppy's ears. Nikki kisses his cheek before adjusting where Poppy is sitting on her lap. 

After a while, Jack' aunt Josephine comes back over with another person that Josephine is about to introduce to them. "Jack... this is your Cousin Siobhan, I believe you have met many years ago" Josephine smiles as she approaches Jack. 

Jack stands up and shakes Siobhan's hand, "It's lovely to see you again... you've changed a lot since I last saw you" Jack smiles as he sits himself back down and gestures to his cousin to sit down. 

"Nikki this is my cousin Siobhan... Siobhan, This is my partner Nikki and our daughter Poppy" Jack smiles, Nikki gives Siobhan a friendly smile before carrying on singing to Poppy who is finding it very amusing. 

Sometime later Jack has gone to talk to his other cousins and left Nikki with Poppy and Siobhan, "You know Nikki, you have very pretty eyes" Siobhan smiles as she edges closer to Nikki, Nikki shifts a little and smiles awkwardly not knowing how to reply to Siobhan. 

"Erm... thanks" She manages to reply and messes with her engagement ring at the same time. 
"My ex-girlfriend used to have eyes like yours," Siobhan says as she slips her hand on to Nikki's knee. 
Nikki shuffles away and stands Poppy up so she can sit on the other chair, "Erm... I think you're forgetting I'm... married to your cousin, I'm not interested... thanks" Nikki blushes awkwardly. 

Nikki moves Poppy off her lap as she is uncomfortable, Poppy stands at the table and continues to mess with the empty crisp packet Jack has left behind. Nikki sits there silently as she waits for Jack to return. "I'm just going to the toilet" Nikki speaks up as she lifts Poppy up and carries her over to Jack. Siobhan glances at Nikki before standing and grabbing her bag and heading out the pub towards the toilets too. 
"Jack, can you have her while I go to the toilet?" Nikki smiles as she taps Jack's shoulder. 
Jack turns around and takes Poppy off Nikki, "Are you okay?" He asks placing his pint down on the bar. 

She nods with a smile, "I'm fine, the baby is sat on my bladder" She smiles before leaving Poppy with Jack and heading to the toilets. 

Nikki goes to the toilet and as she comes out the toilet she sees Siobhan standing at the sink sorting her makeup out, She smiles at Nikki through the mirror as Nikki walks out the toilet cubical and washes her hands in the basin. 

"where's the wee one?" Siobhan asks.
"Erm... she's with her Dad" Nikki replies awkwardly. 

Nikki shakes her hands and then walks to the hand dryer, she begins to dry her hands when Siobhan grabs Nikki's shoulders and spins her around before pushing her up the wall, "What the hell!" Nikki panics. 
"oh to hell with it!" Siobhan smirks and before Nikki can even react Siobhan leans in and kisses her passionately. 

She freezes for a moment before pushing Siobhan off her, she looks at her stunned before pushing past and heading out the restroom and out the pub passing Jack and Poppy on the way out. "Nikki?" Jack calls noticing she is upset. 

Nikki doesn't reply and hurries out the pub, Jack looks at Poppy and then back at the door, "Can you have her for a moment please" Jack speaks as he passes Poppy to his aunt Josephine and then hurrying out the pub to find Nikki.
