Preparations are key

Today is the day of the court hearing Nikki has been requested at, for the three escort girls who were murdered just before Nikki found out she was pregnant with Maddison. She has just dropped Poppy off at nursery school and has left Maddison with Connor for a couple of hours. She is now sat on the passenger side of Jack's car looking through all her notes.
"Did I ever mention how sexy you look today... I mean I love this little grey suit you have on," He smirks as he glances at her while driving along. 

"What are you after?" She mumbles not taking her eyes off the notes in front of her. 
"Well, now you've asked... I reckon a sneaky five minutes without the girls later, what do you say to that?" He replies and Nikki just makes a noise of approval before setting her notes back in her briefcase and looking at Jack.

They soon pull up in the private carpark of the court and they sit in the car for a while together to pass some time, "Have you got everything prepared?" Jack questions as he leans over and kisses Nikki on the lips. 
"Yes." She mumbles against his lips and kisses him again.
"You look amazing today" He mumbles and rests his hand on her slightly revealed tight from her skirt riding up while being sat in the car. 
"So you keep telling me Mr Hodgson" She flirts and leans in to kiss him again.

Jack runs his hand further up her leg and smirks to himself, Nikki on the other hand just keeps kissing him and isn't bothered as long as he doesn't touch her hair which took her ages to do this morning.

Soon Nikki pulls away from Jack's lips and he sighs heavily at the loss, she rolls her eyes and grabs her lipstick from out of the glove compartment of Jack's car and applies a little before looking at herself in the mirror. She then turns to Jack and wipes the lipstick stain from his lip and smirks. 

Nikki then climbs out the car and grabs her handbag and briefcase before waiting on Jack, they walk towards the entrance together before she hears someone shouting in her direction, she thinks for a moment and tries to register what is being shouted, suddenly she realises, "You bitch, you absolute bitch, yes you Dr. Alexander you are a cold-hearted bitch you deserve to suffer for your allegations!" A male voice shouts, she stops and looks over her shoulder while on the steps to the court and notices one of the male family members from the case who had threatened her a while back and possibly slashed the tires of her car. 

Jack places his hand on Nikki's back and guides her up the stairs and into the building, "Who was that?" Jack questions as he keeps looking out the window at the person who has now been joined by a few other people and is heading up the stairs themselves.
"It's Edward Swayers son, Michael" Nikki explains as she looks down at her phone before looking up at Jack. 

Edward and Michael enter the court with a few other people and they both glare at Nikki as they walk across the room and towards the courtroom.
