Katniss POV- (A week later, 7am)

I wake up to my phone buzzing.

I sit up and reach over and grab my phone off of my bedside table.

It's Peeta.

I hope everything is okay because he never calls me this early.

I answer immediately.

(On the phone with Peeta)

"Hey. Is everything okay?" I ask him slowly.

"Yes, everything is fine. I was just calling to see if you would like to go sign for our apartment today? I'm sorry to wake you up so early, I'm just really excited." He says happily.

"Oh okay, sure." I laugh, "I was worried something was wrong. What time do you want to meet?" I ask him sleepily.

"Uh, how about ten? I can come pick you up, if you want."

"Okay, I will see you later." I say.

"By the way, I gave your mom some fresh cheese buns this morning when she and Prim came in." He says sweetly.

"Aw, thank you. I'll go scarf them down no. I love you. Bye." I say and run down stairs before I hear his 'goodbye.'

(A few hours later)

"I can't believe we are getting our own place." Peeta says as he pulls into the apartment offices for District 12's apartments.

"Me either. We are finally going to live together." I tell him happily.

We walk and meet the apartment manager.

We all shake hands and Peeta and I sit down next to one another in front of the managers huge desk.

"So, you two are wanting to rent an apartment complex?" The man asks us politely.

I nod and Peeta answers, "Yes, sir."

"Great! Well, I just need you to fill out these forms and sign at the bottom saying that we will not have any violations of property rules."

"Do you mind explaining some of the rules to us?" I ask him curiously.

I don't want Peeta and I to mess this up.

"Violations include domestic violence, drug/alcohol abuse, destruction of property and other things like that." He explains.

"You won't have to worry about any of that." Peeta assures the man.

He smiles and we continue to fill out the information sheet.

When we are finished, he tells us that he will call us within a week with an open apartment.

Peeta and I walk out and get into the car.

"We should both start packing since we will move out sometime next week, I'm sure." Peeta suggest.

"Okay, maybe this week we can work on it if you want."

"Of course we can." He says and takes me home.

Before I know it, I am completely packed and ready to go as soon as we get an 'okay' from the housing department.
