Batman paces around in front of me in the Batcave. Back and forth. Back and forth. On and on for a few more minutes until Dick sighs and rubs his face. "Can we just get the lecture already?" He questions and Batman stops, walking over to us. "We know you don't approve of her being here, but she is staying."

"How much does she know, Nightwing?" Batman growls, not even looking at me.

        "She doesn't know everything."

        "Does she know about you?"

        "Yes-"

"Then she already knows too much. It isn't hard to piece together everything from that."

        "She is staying-"

"In a cell. She can't be trusted."

"No. She is staying with me-"

"I suggest you leave now. I need to talk with her-"

        "Listen to me-"

"I'm done listening to your childish whims because you have a crush."

        "Will you just-"

        "No!"

"I wanna fight." I suddenly say and Dick quickly glances over at me.

He looked really surprised. "What did you say?"

"I want to fight. I want to help protect the city."

"No." Both Dick and Batman say at the same time and I glare at Dick.

"And why not? You know I can fight and I don't ever wanna feel helpless like I did just an hour ago. I want to be able to fight back."

        "No."

"You two were just bickering and now you are agreeing with each other..." I grumble. "Why can't I fight? Wally thinks I should."

"Wally is reckless." Dick growls and I roll my eyes.

"And you're not?" Batman states clearly and I smirk slightly at him.

        "This doesn't concern you-"

"Let me fight!" I shout as they begin bickering again. "At least test me."

"No." Batman then walks off and I glare at his receding form.

"Where did that come from?" Dick turns on me and I shrug.

"I told you. I don't wanna be helpless anymore."

"I'm trying to teach you about life, not helping you to get killed."

"You do it all the time-"

        "I've been trained."

"Then train me. Or at least just train me some basic moves to protect myself."

"Fine. But not tonight. You need to recover."

"I'm fine." I hop off of the table and wobble, the room spinning. "See, I'm fine."

A Few Days Later

"Why are we doing this?" I whisper to Dick as he leads me into a mall. "People are staring."

"I don't care. Come on. Let's go window shopping like normal people."

        "We aren't normal."
