October 1st

"Whats that smell?" I question stepping closer to Toby.

"Shit." He says under his breath. He walks into his room.

I follow him slowly. He is changing his shirt. "What is it Toby?" I ask again since he never answered me.

"Do I look high to you?" His eyes have changed from a crystal blue to a dark, angry blue. "Do I look drunk? No, I don't. Stop being a spas."

"I'm the spas? I wasn't the one pacing back and forth at the door!" I yell, and I actually was pacing and waiting for him.

"Get out!" He throws his hand up at the door.

"Fine." I put my hands up and turn away. If he doesn't want me here, then I don't want to be here. That is the biggest lie actually, I want to stay here with him.

I start to open the front door. "Wait." He almost whispers. His eyes are down at his shoes.

I shut the door and turn toward him slowly.

"Come here." He opens his arms up.

I oblige happily. I don't know where I would have gone, or what awful things I would have done. I would probably try and numb the sadness of being kicked out by Toby.

I get to Toby and he grabs me. He holds me tight. I hear his heartbeat while we hug. He lets go of me after what was probably minutes, but felt like seconds. I immediately feel cold.

"I'm going to order pizza." He grabs his phone. As soon as he finishes that sentence, hunger pains hit my stomach.

"Get chocolate chip pizza." I whisper while he is ordering something else.

He makes a disgusted face, but orders it anyway. It does sound gross, but it is really good.

After he hangs up he gives me a look. I'm not sure what it means, but his eyes haven't left me.

"What?" I ask timidly.

"You are so beautiful." He smiles at me.

I roll my eyes. "Thank you."

"I only went to the doctor, and to get stuff ready for your birthday." He said he would only be gone an hour. If he knew he had to do both of those things, I would think that would take more than an hour.

Make sure his stories add up.

"I waited for you, but you weren't here. I got lonely, so I went to Target." I don't think he would like it so much if he knew I went to the rehab just to find out things about him.

His finger pokes the side of my rib. I hunch over at the tickling shock. He continues to tickle me everywhere. How does he just know exactly where to tickle me. I fall on the floor. He gets on top of me. My laughter fills the room.

A knock at the door interrupted our cute moment. He gets up but I stay on the floor. I'm too out of breath. He has the pizza in his hands.

"Pizza." I gasp. I start crawling on the floor, I'm sure it looks really creepy.

"You could be the thing off of The Grudge." He throws his head back and laughs. I sarcastically laugh at him.
