September 27th

I have to go to the wedding tonight. I'm sitting in my room, waiting for it to be time to get ready. I still haven't smoked or drank anything. I think I might be done with it. Maybe. For today.

I go on Netflix and find Toby and I's favorite movie, "Stuck in Love".

I smile at my favorite parts, cry on the sad part, and point out to myself Toby's favorite parts. Such a great movie. It's still not time to get ready, so I turn on my second favorite movie, "Keith".

Halfway through the movie my alarm goes off. Time to get ready. I pause the movie and move to my large bathroom.

I turn on my curler, while I'm waiting on it to heat up I put on my eye shadow on. I curl the bottom of my hair, even though it already has a natural wave to it. After I curl it I finish putting on my makeup, I put more than usual. I pin back the front of my hair. It looks good. Time for the dress. I slip on my size zero dress, and my gold high heels.

I turn around to face my body mirror. I look... not like me. I look good, but not me. I don't look like myself. My makeup is lighter than normal.

"Alice we have to leave in ten minutes." My mom yells up the stairs.

I make my way down the stairs in my heels. When I reach the bottom my moms draw drops.

"You look so beautiful!" Her eyes are watering.

"You're not suppose to look better than the bride." My only sister teases.

My step dad isn't coming because he has work.

"Let's go then." My mom says and grabs the keys to the Cadillac.

My sister is in a dress that makes her stomach pop out even more. It's teal, with sleeves and it reaches to the top on her knee, her shoes are sandals. I wouldn't wear heels if I was pregnant like her.

My mom has a white three quarter sleeve dress on, its a little tighter, and reaches to the top of her knee. Her neckless is black, and her shoes are black and white heels.

My dress is strapless, sweetheart neck line, pink, lacey all over, the top is tight, then goes out, it reaches about mid thigh if that. I have a gold neckless on with my favorite gold sparkly heels.

We walk out of the big house. My heels click on the concrete.

"This is perfect weather for an outside wedding." My mom states looking up at the sky.

We get inside the car and drive off. I don't think I even know this person. Am I going to drink at the wedding? No. Maybe.

We arrive at a beautiful large house. A lot of people are here, and all going back into what seems to be a backyard.

White flowers are everywhere. Waiters and waitresses are in white walking around. We park and get out of the car. We walk where everybody else is going, which is a backyard. A big backyard. Chairs are set up in front of a gazebo. We find a spot out of the hundreds of chairs. I sit in silence. I have a weird feeling, I don't know what it is, but it's something.

Finally a song starts to play, brides maids start to walk out, and then the bride. She looks familiar, maybe I've met her a long time ago. She looks happy. Her dress is a mermaid dress, I will never have a mermaid dress if I ever get married. People start to cry when they say their vowels, I don't. I'm actually bored. I hope the reception is better than this.

"You may kiss the bride." The usher says with a smile.

They kiss. I fall into a daydream of Toby and I getting married. Our usher saying "You may kiss the bride."

I get woken from my wonderful daydream my mom and sister getting up. I follow them. We go on the other side of the large concrete backyard, where there is a buffet, bar, and live music. Still white flowers everywhere. The sun is down and pretty lights are on.

I get sweet tea and walk over to the live music. I move my shoulders to the music slightly. I have the feeling again, what is it? I look slightly to the left and see a dark haired guy from the corner of my eye. Is my mind is playing tricks on me? No it's not. It's him he's there.

Blue jeans, white shirt, he makes my eyes burn.

Toby's POV

I'm at a wedding, my moms wedding. Her fifth wedding. I'm walking to the reception area right now. I have a weird feeling, I don't know what it is, but it's here. I walk on the side of my grandparents huge backyard, where a buffet, bar, and live music are found. I walk over to the live music, but the most beautiful girl in the world catches my eye.

Alice.

She looks so wonderful in her dress, I love her hair like that, the way it falls on on the side of her neck, down her shoulders and back, the way the moonlight hits her pearl kissed white skin. We are surrounded by all of these people who talk too much. I want her to be the last girl I look like this.

She doesn't know I am watching her. She has a look in her eye like everyone around her doesn't know anything at all. A drink is in her hand, I hope it's nothing bad. She turns to her left, and I catch her eye. This is the feeling I was feeling, it was her.

It was her. It was the love of my life.

Alice's POV

This is the feeling I was feeling, it was him.

It was him. It was the love of my life.
