Asui sat on the sofa, Uraraka next to her. They had finished the homework and were now watching TV. They heard footsteps behind them and turned around.
Deku was walking across the common area, wearing his coat ready to go outside, hand in hand with Todoroki.
Todoroki looked up and was the two girls. He quickly let go of Deku's hand and nudged him. Deku looked up and was the girls. For a moment he made he contact with Uraraka who turned bright red and looked away, back at the screen.
Asui saved at the two boys who hurriedly left the dorms, making their way across the school and off campus.
As they left the school a woman stopped them. She had straight blond hair that covered her left eye and under her left eye they saw a glimpse of bandages. She looked at them with her yellow eye and smiled.
"Could I talk to Todoroki for a minute please?" She asked. Her voice seemed familiar but something seemed off about it. The accent seems too posh to be real.
Deku cleared his throat. "I'm sorry, Miss, but we were going somewhere. Perhaps some other time?" He said politely.
The woman smiled widely.
She reached up and pushed back her hair, showing a bandaged eye. With her other hand she went to push back the bandages. Deku looked away but Todoroki kept his eye on her. He let out a small gasp and Deku looked up and saw that under the bandages her face was metal.
"Nine..." He muttered, getting himself ready for a fight.
Nine smiled again. "I'm not here to fight. Simply to give a message to Todoroki."
"We don't want to here anything a villain has to say!" Deku said, still ready to fight. Todoroki, however nodded. "What is it?" He asked. Deku looked up at him in surprise. His face was emotionless, nearly emotionless, in his eyes Deku saw... Hope? Hope of What he didn't know but it was defiantly there. Hope.
"I don't break my promises." Nine said, her eyes fixed on Todoroki "Where he disappeared, tonight, the same time he would always visit you."
Todoroki nodded. "I'll come."
The woman moved the bandages over her eye until they covered all the metal then dropped her hair over them again. She turned and walked down a small alley, disappearing from view.
Todoroki looked at Deku.
"I'm sorry, but I have to go. Alone."
Deku looked confused.
"I know you want to come with me if I do go but this is family. He's coming back and I can't risk losing him again." A tear flowed down Todoroki's cheek. "Let's go, I'll explain it on the way."
Todoroki started to walk off, Deku ran to catch up with him as they walked the twisting roads to the coffee shop they always went to.
"Do you remember when she asked about Touya? The day before Tsu was arrested?" Deku nodded slightly "He's my older brother but he disappeared seven years ago. No-one knows where he went, weather it was villains or if he left willingly. Everyone tried to find him but eventually they gave up. Decided he wasn't coming back. That he never would." Todoroki sipped the tears from his face " He ment everything to me. Dad had tried to make him into his legacy before me but decided he wasn't good enough. He understood though. He understood the pain I went through, when no-one else did. He was the only real family I had. After he disappeared everything got worse. I was alone, no-one there for me and my Dad, he seemed angry about his disappearance as well. Nine, Satomi, She knows what happened to him and she promised that we would see each other again. It's the best chance i have it seeing him again. "
Deku nodded slowly, taking it all in.
"Ok. Just keep your location on so I can find you if I need to, ok?"
Todoroki nodded before hugging Deku. "Thank you." He whispered into his ear as they entered the coffee shop.
