Tokoyami had made his way back to the hall. The room was almost empty apart from Octavia still crying in the corner and the bodies of his three dead classmates:

Mineta, Shoji and Denki.

The walls were covered in scorch marks and scratches. The windows had been smashed and the ground was covered in broken glass and splatters of blood that filled the air with a metallic scent.

Tokoyami walked over to the corpse of his friend, where Octavia was knelt, her fingers clutching into the dead boy's shirt. He knelt down, opposite Octavia, and watched the young villain as she continued to bawl.

She hardly seemed to notice him even as he put his hand on her shoulder and lead her out of the hall. He left her in a classroom and headed back to the hall.

One by one, he carried the bodies of his dead friends out of the room and laid them in the hallway. He then headed back to the hall, wiping years from his eyes and began to prepare the stage.

Momo lead the Uraraka, Hagakure, Kirishima, Sato and Sero, into the hall where Tokoyami finished making the final preparations with things Momo created for him. The heroes each took their positions.

Momo paced back and forth around the room.

The final exam, during her first semester at UA. She and Todoroki had fought Aizawa. In the end, in order to beat him, Momo had come up with a winning strategy.

This time wasn't so different, she needed another winning stratagy, and she thinks she has one too, only now the strategy is being used against Todoroki and Aizawa had been dead for years.

Would be be proud of her, seeing her now? He had only been her teacher for half a year, but it seemed so much more important than any other time. He seemed like the most important teacher she'd had.

He might be proud to see her confidemce, to see her use a strategy she came up with without hesitating or questioning herself. Maybe her he ashamed to see her still trusting Todoroki. He still seemed like a friend, not her enemy. When she had seen him last, he had seemed like his old self. Like her friend.

Not that it mattered, what Aizawa thought. He was dead. Nine had killed him in cold blood.

She shook herself and looked around the room, confirming that everything was set up then, with a deep breath, threw open the hall doors and walked towards the orange flames.
