Blood and death

Yoayorozu sat in her dorm room, practising making different items. The floor around her was covered in shields and knives and she was now puking a gun out of her arm and she dropped it to the floor.

She lay back on her bed, grabbing some food from a plate on her table. She heard footsteps passing her door, heading to Asui's room even though she was sure Asui was in her room already. Probably just Uraraka, she thought, grabbing a bar of chocolate.

Asui's eyes opened slightly as she felt something moving her pillow. She was a arm under her pillow and watched as a Hoover band emurged, gripping a knife.

Her heart skipped a beat as she bolted upright. Her knife.

 "Todoroki!" She said, catching sight of him. He must have suspected something. That's why he was action strange. "I can explain."

 Todoroki gave her an emotionless look. "You don't need to explain. It's for protection, right? In case the villains attack the dorms."

 Asui let out a released sigh and nodded. "I thought it would be safer to have it close to me."

 Todoroki nodded again. His face contorted into something that surprised Asui. A smile, not a happy one but a disturbing one, like the way Dabi had smiled as he fought Vlad King. Asui had watched from her window for a bit but then turned away, maybe from disgust, maybe from something else.

Todoroki held up the knife to the light. "That's not what it's really for, though. Protection, yes, but not from villains." His eyes locked in to hers "Traitor."

 Asui's stomach twisted. He did know. She tried shaking her head but she felt light headed out of terror. She had been caught, again.

Todoroki smiled again, this time a friendly smile but it seemed fake, too much. "I'm not judging. You're not the only one, you know. Dabi and Nine told me about you a few weeks ago. They wanted me to find out why you weren't reporting anything."

 Both fear and joy ran through her. She wasn't found out but the villains had another way of getting to her.

She swung her legs over the edge of the bed. "I'm sorry, it's just that..."

 Asui put a hand to her throat and felt the slow surge of blood. She looked up at Todoroki who have her that smile again, sadistic and joyful as he watched blood pour over her.

He dipped his gloves finger in the blood and started to write on the wall with it, like it was red paint.

She tried to call out but her voice wouldn't work.

She was the knife of the bed in front of her. She tried to grab it but her arm wouldn't move.

Everything had started to go blurry, she could hardly make out the last letter as Todoroki sipped his finger in her blood again.

She watched her friend sit down in front of her, staring at her as her eyes glazed over and everything went black.

Yoayorozu had started to call asleep when the footsteps passed her dorm room again. Now they seemed quicker, like somebody who was happy.

She smiled to herself.

Maybe, she thought, there's something Asui hasn't told us yet.
