A few days before...

Momo Yaoyorozu, the everything hero: Ceati, was patrolling. Everything seemed normal enough. People waved to her and asked for photos or just stared at her if they were too shy. Some perverts asked if her boobs were real, she brushed them off with ease. Three years at school with Mineta had, in some ways, been useful.

She entered the square and crossed to her favourite cafe. She's went inside and ordered a cup of her usual tea and sat outside drinking it, watching the people passing by. More people asked for photos, more people stared or waved. A teenager with green hair asked for her autograph, adding it to his collection.

Really, it was all normal.

"Hey, Momo! Been a while." Mono spun around to see a familiar face smiling down at her. A close childhood friend, the reason she had gone to UA and the reason she had been strong enough to get in. Someone who ment everything to her.

"Masumi!" She said, smiling up at her blue haired friend. Masumi sat next to her, taking a sip of his coffee. They started talking. Masumi asked her about her time as a hero, taking it all in eagerly.

He had wanted to become a hero as well, he and even got into UA's hero course the year before Momo. It didn't last long though. Before he had even been there a week, Aizawa had expelled the entire class, claiming they had no potential.

He watched as more people took photos with her and asked for autographs. Mono sighed firefly and sat back in her seat as another fan walked off, texting someone. "Tiring work." He said jokingly as she took a full off tea.

She sleeping smiled at him and he started to laugh. Mono was happy. He didn't seem to mind that she had succeeded at his dream. He didn't seem angry or resentful at all. He was as he always was, laughing and smiling, his blue eyes glittering.

They finished their drinks, paid and left, walking down the streets, constantly talking. "Hey, my place isn't too far from here." Masumi said, indicating to a small street leading off the main road. The pair walked down the street and then down an even smaller street.

The buildings around them started to look more run down. The people who watched them through windows, less friendly. Mono started to get nervous, preparing her quirk.

Next to her, Masumi was also using his quirk, preparing.

"Hey, Momo." He said. She spun around, looking at him. She opened her mouth to speak but he pressed his damp sleeve against her mouth. Her eyes widened then shut as she lost consciousness.

Nitro held his unconscious friend in his arms then swung her over his shoulder, carrying her off down the street to a old rundown house.
