I put my phone down to pay for the alcoholic drinks I got here in this convenience store.

I smiled at the cashier and I can tell that he's kinda startled? Hmm.

"Thank you for your service and for thinking I'm beautiful."

Sumakay ako ng kotse ko and drove my way to the Gonzales' residence. I missed being there, huh.

"Future!" nagsigawan sila at excited na lumapit sakin. Itong mga lukaret na 'to.

"Namiss ko din kayo!"

"Hindi pa nga namin sinasabi e. Hmp!" ika ni Ronna.

"Nafi-feel ko naman e. And that's enough." I winked at them.

Tumuloy kami sa pool area. Nakaayos na lahat, talagang ako at ang mga alak na lang ang kulang. Mga kuripot.

"Cheers!" nangungunang sabi ni Aira.

"Finger game tayo! Alam nyo naman 'to, diba? Ifo-fold ang daliri kapag natumpak ganern!" medyo magulong paliwanag ni MeAn, but what's weird, e, naintindihan namin.

"Ang matalo, 5 shots agad! Game! Mauuna na 'ko." ani Thea.

"Fold a finger if your wearing white right now." I fold one, because obviously, I always wear white.

"Fold a finger down if you already graduated." sabi ni Ronna. I folded one again.

"Are you guys tryna get me drunk?" I asked.

"That's ridiculous, Future. Haha! Anyways! Fold your finger if.. hmm.. you're single!" This time si Mariel naman.

Yel, Aira and I folded a finger. Damn, I only got two now.

"Angas nito ah. Porket masaya kayo ni Jaimel?" Aira bitterly said.

It's my turn. "Fold a finger if you think I played a little role in your life." I smiled. They all folded one.

"That's unfair!" Kei pouted, I showed her my two remaining fingers. "These. This is what you call unfair."

"Fold a finger if you think you deserve to be happy." Yel herself folded one. Damn, my girl hold grudges.

"Yel, para satin 'tong tanong mo e. Nakakainis ka naman e." Aira folded one. I smiled. Brave girls.

"Future, why didn't you fold a finger?" tanong ni Ronna.

"I'm happy." to be here with you guys.

"Okay. Ako naman," ani Aira habang nag-iisip. "

"Fold a finger down if you're not being true to yourself and to your friends right now."

Oh, that's kind of controversial. Yel folded one and sighed. I smiled, she really is brave, huh.

Everyone fell silent, and that's my cue. "Let's not continue this game. Mukhang uncomfortable kayo about this topic or you guys wanna talk it out?"

Yel laughed. "Maybe, later? Kapag malakas-lakas na loob ko."

I shrugged. Kei excused herself to get our snacks and go to her room for awhile.

"I like Dee," Yel started.

Only aggressive gasps were heard.

Si Ronna ang unang nakabawi, "Totoo?!"

Yel smiled to make the mood lighter and nodded. "Hindi ko rin naman inexpect."

"Bakit sa amin mo ito sinabi? Bakit hindi kay Kei?" gulong tanong ni Mariel.

Tears fell from Yel's eyes. "I'm too scared."

"As if I'm gonna eat you if you tell me that,"

Hindi nila napansin na nakabalik na si Kei.

"Parang ang baba naman ng tingin mo sa'kin, Meryielle. Para namang sinasabi mong itatakwil kita na maging kaibigan ko dahil lang pareho tayo ng gusto." Kei is now crying.

"I feel like you don't trust me enough, you're struggling alone and didn't even bother telling me or us para gumaan ang loob mo. And that's what frustrates me."

"I don't care if we like the same person, our friendship matters more."

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..."

Then they hugged. Aww, what a sight.

"Future, join us!" I smiled.

"No, thanks. This is your group's issue, go ahead. You need time for yourselves. I'll go to the bathroom," then excused myself.

Papunta na sana ako diretso sa common bathroom nila ng magkaabutan kami ni Asclepius. Muntik na akong atakihin, halos magkamukha't magka-build sila ni Apollo.

Nginitian ko s'ya na parang ngiwi ata ang dating. He smirked at me.

"Kian!" he shouted. I panicked.

Kier laughed so hard, "I'm just kidding. He's not around."

I rolled my eyes at him. "Fuck you,"

Kier is my friend, despite being younger than him. Kaya laking pagtataka ko ng hindi ako kilala ni Kei. I came here before like, twice? Well, both times, Kian wasn't here.

Pumasok na ako sa bathroom. Did some retouch then washed my hands. Lumabas ako at naabutan ko pa si Kier sa kitchen. I sat on the high stool. Sumilip ako sa labas, they're still having their time.

"They have some misunderstanding, so," paliwanag ko ng makita ang tingin ni Kier sa'kin.

"Kumusta?" tanong n'ya habang kumakagat sa apple.

"Fine." I poured water on the glasses infront of us.

"Ang clinic mo?" tanong n'ya ulit.

"Ayos lang din, bakit?"

He eyed me again. "You sure you're not here for my brother?"

Binatukan ko na. "Im here for your sister, dumbass."

Inagaw ko ang apple n'ya at kumagat doon. I heard someone coughed.

I looked up to the stairs and saw Kian. Nasamid ako.

"Ayos ka lang?" nang-aasar na puna ni Kier at inabot ang baso sa lamesa. Hinagod n'ya pa ang likod ko. Ang gagong ito? Ang sabi wala daw si Kian, e, sino 'yon?

"Didn't know you two are close," he grinned sarcastically.

Umiwas ako ng three months tapos ganito kami ulit magkikita? Wala s'yang pang-itaas at nakaboxer lang? Asawahin ko na kaya? Pero hindi pwede. Ayaw n'ya sakin!

"We're exes. Hindi mo pala alam."

Nagulat ako sa sinabi ng kumag na 'to! Ano daw? Ex? EX!?

Kinurot ko sa tagiliran. Ngayon ko lang napansin na wala din pala syang pang-itaas.

"Kaya siguro pabalik-balik dito. Gusto pa siguro ako, sa tingin mo, bro?" tinaas n'ya pa kilay nya kay Kian.

Uminom si Kian sa baso ko. "Umm.. Baso ko 'yan."

His brows furrowed. "May baso ka naman palang sarili, e, bakit naki-inom ka pa sa baso n'ya?"

"Ako nagbigay ng baso. Ano naman kung gamitin n'ya ang baso ko? We're exes, we did more than that-"

Hindi na natapos si Kier dahil nagmartsa si Kian paalis. Parang sundalo sa bigat ng yapak.

Nang tuluyang makaalis ay tumawa ng malakas si Kier. "Gagong 'yon? Kunwari pang ayaw sa'yo e, nakita mo ba ang ilong? Parang ilong ng toro na lumiliyab."

"Isa ka ding gago e. Anong we did more than that? At anong exes? Baka ikaw ang may gusto pa sakin." hinampas ko ang dibdib n'ya.

"Excuse me, matagal na akong walang gusto sa'yo. I have a girlfriend now. At saka, sumakay ka nalang. Bukas aamin na 'yan, bagal e."
