Riley

It was the day of the reunion party, I had woken up next to Liam like I had done for the past week. I loved sleeping next to him, we always cuddled before going to sleep, he wrapped his arms tightly around me, he rested his head on the back of my neck and kissed it as I fell asleep. Everything between us was perfect, I never wanted to let him go.

"Baby it's time to get up," Liam whispered in my ear. I groaned at the sound of his voice, it was low and sexy, I'm sure I could have just fallen for his voice.

"Okay," I grumbled back. I stretched and let out little muttering noises as I moved. I still didn't get up for a few more minutes, the bed was to warm and comfy for me to get out of.

"Mummy!" a little voice screamed as a body landed on the bed beside me. "Get up Mummy. Daddy said we've got to leave in an hour."

I couldn't deny my little boy, he was just too cute. "Okay Jack, I'm getting out of bed."

I climbed out of bed and left Jack where he was sitting in the covers, he looked so cute wrapped up in the blankets. I quickly slipped into the shower to have a rushed wash and to make sure I smelled nice for today. I changed into the purple maternity dress I bought the other week when I went shopping with Liam's mum. It fitted me nicely because it wasn't tight around the belly. I paired the dress with my favourite black boots and black cardigan. I looked pretty.

When I exited the bathroom, Jack was still in my bed playing with something in his hands. I sat down behind him and pulled him onto my lap. "What you got there?" I asked him.

He opened the palm of his hand to show me, but what was in his hand surprised me significantly. Inside his hand was a beautiful ring with a delicately cut diamond. I couldn't believe what Jack had.

"Where did you find that?" I asked him carefully.

"In Daddy's top drawer," he replied smiling.

"Okay, why don't you put it back, so you don't lose it?" I really wondered why Liam had a ring in his drawer. I knew I'd have to ask him eventually but now wasn't the time.

I watched as Jack placed the ring back into Liam's drawer on his side of the bed before climbing back to me and taking my hand. We left the bedroom hand in hand.

Liam was sitting on the sofa when we entered the living room. I let go of Jack's hand and went to Liam. I leant over him and grabbed his face in my hands, I placed my lips lightly on his. He kissed me back slowly.

"Ewww!" Jack complained from beside us. "Stop eating his face Mummy."

I pulled away and laughed. "You'll want to do this one day."

"With Avery?" he asked. I had never heard him mention that name before but I guessed it was someone from his nursery.

"If you want to kiss her," Liam smiled at Jack.

"Okay," Jack muttered leaving the room.

"Hey Baby," Liam leaned up again and kissed me.

"Hey," I kissed him back.

After a few minutes of kissing we broke apart. "We've got to leave," Liam sighed.

"Fine." I pulled away from him. "Jack!" I yelled. "Get your shoes on."

Feet patted throughout the house and then I   heard a scrambling as Jack hurried to get on his shoes. Soon enough we were ready to leave for the reunion party.

Liam

When we reached the reunion party at lot of people were already milling around on the beach. I saw some familiar faces and some not so.

"Hey Olivia," I hugged her when she came up to me. "This is Riley and her son Jack," I introduced them.

"Liam did you forget that I already know them." I then remembered that they used to live here a few months ago, it felt forever ago since Riley and Jack had moved in with me.

"Yeah sorry I forget," I smiled.

Olivia turned to Riley and smiled. "How far along are you?" she asked genuinely curious.

"Six months," Riley replied with a gorgeous grin on her face. "She's due in January."

"So you're having a girl?"

"We don't know yet, we want it to be a surprise."

"I know that feeling," Olivia laughed.

I felt something tug on my arm. I looked down and saw Jack smiling up at me. "Can I talk to my friend Daddy?" he asked pointing to a young girl who was playing in the sand.

"Sure," I replied letting him go to play with her.

"That's so cute, he calls you Daddy," Olivia giggled.

"Yeah he does, I pretty much am anyway."

"I guess so. Anyway I'd better go and talk to the other guests, have fun," she smiled leaving Riley and I alone.

We spent the next few hours mingling with people, my parents were there and so was my sister, also Freddy had come along and surprising he was with Molly, my ex. There were lots of people I didn't know, there was this one family and they had three kids, their youngest Avery was playing with Jack, they were cute together.

I was having fun and I knew Riley was too, at the present she was talking to my sister about who knows what. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Molly walk towards them. She introduced herself to Riley and Riley did the same back. I knew I had to be there just in case something blew up.

"So who's the father?" Molly asked.

Both Lucy and Riley were silent, they both knew that Molly was my ex but Molly didn't know that Riley was my current girl. "I am," I replied.

"What!" she exclaimed in shock.

"Riley and I are together and we're having a baby in a few months."

"You moved on fast."

"I guess I did but when you meet that one person who makes you happy you know," I told her truthfully.

"You make me happy too," Riley kissed my cheek.

Then suddenly I knew that was the point where I had to tell her how I was feeling. "I'll be back in a second," I told them quickly.

I headed up to the deck of the house and called everyone over, the moved swiftly towards me, my family at the front. "I'd like to make an announcement!" I shouted over them. "Riley would you come here?"

She moved towards me. As she stood next to me I grabbed her hand tightly in mine. "As many of you know Riley and I have been together a while now and we're having a baby together but there is one thing I haven't told her yet. Today I want to tell you, tell her how I feel for her. So... Riley Jenna I have never met anyone who made me feel the way you do, I love you Riley to the end of the universe and back."

A large smile appeared on her face and she leaned closer, then slowly she kissed me. When we pulled apart she whispered the words that I hoped that she would whisper back. "I love you too."
