Chapter 34: Death Is Not The End

And there was Miss O, the former Odd Squad leader, in front of Otis, Oliver, Ohany, Olympia and Selena, wearing that lilac lipstick. She opened the door of the truck body, and they left obligatorily, because with her were also some of her henchmen, wearing black robes and masks. It was already daytime, that is, they spent several hours of the night inside the truck, and ended up resting inside, fainting.

The henchmen took the five teenagers to a large building, with a large "M" symbol marked. It was a place in the middle of nowhere, and it was very familiar to both Oliver and Selena. When they were led into the squad by force, Miss O took them to a clear, small, empty room. The henchmen walked away, and Miss O closed the door, staying inside the room with the teenagers.

– Did you miss me? – Miss O asked sarcastically.

– I knew it was you! Selena exclaimed. – And I do not even know you.

- Gee, you woke up stressed. I'm Miss O, leader of the Mad Squad. I already know a lot about you.

Oliver interrupted them.

– Wait, leader of the Mad Squad?

–Yes, Oliver, -or rather, Harry. – I am the new leader of the Mad Squad, and fortunately, I have a lot more power here than I ever had in Odd Squad.

– Shut the front door! – Exclaimed Olympia.

Olympia hold Otis's hand in terror.

– You... killed the other members of Odd Squad? – She asked tensely.

– Killed? – Miss O gave a loud laugh. – No, not yet. I want to kill you all together. It will be a prettier... death.

Ohany stood still, but shivered.

Olympia was desperate.

– But then, where are they?

– Oh, Olympia, Always so curious... they're in another room, but tonight, they're all going to become dust, just like you. That fire was just to distract them and kidnap them one by one.

– Idiot! – Ohany rushed toward her, confident, wanting to punch her, but Miss O shoved her to the side. Ohany groaned in pain.

– Thanks for the tickling. With the devices of this squadron, I'm much stronger.

Selena and Oliver looked at each other. They had been part of building various devices from that place.

– Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll bring those other bastards over here. – Miss O opened the heavy door to the room. – See you, dust... – And she slammed the door.

– Ohany! – Selena ran toward her. – Are you okay?

Ohany was still lying on the floor, bruised. They were still worried, but they were relieved to know that the other members were not dead, yet.

– Oh, I think I just hit my head hard on the wall... but I'm fine. – She said, standing up.

– Guys, how did Miss O become the leader of this squad? – Oliver asked.

– And why does she want to kill us? – Otis stammered. – She looks crazy!

- And she is! We need answers. Selena began to walk in circles through the small clear room, so white that her eyes hurt. – Oliver, we've been here before, probably not much has changed, how do we get out of here?

– I left years ago, you left months ago, I barely remember anything else!

Olympia snorted.
