The ball was over, and it all seemed unbelievable. Oliver was extremely glad that no one took hidden alcohol and ended up getting drunk. Ohany had seriously injured Olly, who at the moment was probably on a hospital stretcher (and Ohany had no desire for him to get better). The night passed and now it was nine in the morning.

Otis was in the room of John, Olympia's boyfriend, who was nice to let him sleep there at least tonight, because Oliver usually sleeps in the squad, and now that they were dating, Otis thought that he and Oliver staying in the same place at night would not be the ideal idea for him to keep his principles. The space where Otis' house was was empty except for a few bits of wood and burnt grass. Miss O had really burned everything, and tried to kill them at all costs just to have more power. Otis's parents, since the day before his house was burned, had been on a trip, without cell phones or electronics, just to enjoy life, and would return that day (and probably would be really shocked when they see their house). It was possible to hear the tremors of Otis, who seemed extremely nervous about the return of his parents. It had been almost a month since he had seen them and had no news of them. His parents sent a letter, but he never saw it: it would have been delivered to the mailbox in his house, but because it was burned, it was in the post office.

Otis borrowed a suitcase from John, who granted it. He would go to the Odd Squad to pack some of his clothes in a considerably large suitcase, along with his cell phone, charger, and headset. He would soon be on vacation in Paris with his best friend Olympia and his new boyfriend, Oliver. The bad thing is that he could only see his parents for a few hours before traveling for a few long weeks.

On the plane that the three of them would go, it was not allowed to enter without a "guardian" over 18, and since Oliver was the oldest (only a few months older than Oliver) and was 15, at first he was unsure how he would get it. travel, but Selena managed. Otis still doesn't know how.

Minutes later, he arrived at Odd Squad. Several people were already there, working. Otis was the leader now, but as he would spend a few weeks away, he left the post for Selena temporarily. She seemed really devoted to the job and was determined to be a great leader while Otis was away. Otis greeted her and smiled, and she did the same.

Oliver was in his room in the squad, which was on the third floor. His suitcase was already packed, and now he had only the door closed listening to Lover as he whirled around the room. It seemed ideal to him that now that he was in love, he could listen to a song that he could really relate to. Even with the door closed, there was a glass window that made it possible to see what was going on inside the room, since the curtains were not closed, and Otis approached, knocking on the door. Oliver, without hesitation, opened the door, still singing. "Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover..."

– Hi! - Otis exclaimed with a sincere smile, and kissed Oliver on the cheek. – Are you ready? We have to go to Olympia's house in a few minutes.

– Sure – Oliver said, pausing the music and putting his cell phone in his pocket. – We can go.

Olympia was at her house with Ohany helping her prepare the clothes. Olympia's father, although rarely mentioned by her, was very affectionate and receptive. Her mother passed away when she was about six years old, and has since spent her days in the squad, at school or at home with her father and older sister, Grace, who has no idea about the squad's existence. Whenever Olympia came home late or injured and Grace started asking questions, Olympia would just say that she was injured in PE or talking to classmates after the end of class. Grace never believed it, found it odd that Olympia had physical education so many times a week, but she stopped asking because she knew she would get no answer.

The red-haired girl with glasses finally closed her suitcase and hugged Ohany for a long time. They wouldn't see each other for weeks. Olympia's father made Grace think Ohany's trip was with friends she had met at school, not at the squad.
