Chapter 2 - apartments

A couple hours later into the night and everyone was proper drunk. Gee had passed out cuddling a pillow dressed in her boyfriends jacket. Mia and Will spent the night attached by the lip and hip which, didn't surprise me. But it almost made my stomach churn when I watched. Me and Alex where mainly laughing and watching random videos on YouTube to pass the time.

I look up from my phone to see Mia ontop of will while they kissed rather passionately. I ignore the thoughts in my head and decided it was time the leave the apartment and go to my bed to prepare for this hangover "I think we should head home" I say to Alex forcing a small smile "yeah let's go" he says standing up before extending a hand for me to take which I do. Mia stops kissing will to turn her head "Bye Guys, see you soon!" Which made will come back to planet earth and realise that me and Alex were leaving "oh why are you off like?" He says brushing his hand through his hair clearing his throat. "Well me and (y/n) don't particularly want to watch you and Mia neck it on all night" Alex says rolling his eyes, I didn't really know what to say so I just smiled and said "goodnight will, congrats again" and before he could answer me and Alex walked out of the apartment.

Me and Alex walked down the hall of the apartment blocks to get back home I trace my hand against the wall in a comforting way like I did before in the kitchen with the marble surface. "are you alright love?" Alex says squeezing my hand kindly "yeah, just feeling a bit out of it I suppose. Probably gonna have a killer hangover tomorrow" Alex just chuckled "probably" he responding opening the door to our apartment. walking into our place which is very similar to Will and Gee's as we live in the same block of apartments. George walks up to me and Alex "you guys are home early" he says rubbing his eyes "the night was pretty much over when it came to events" I say shrugging smiling at George before walking into our kitchen to grab a bite to eat before sleep a necessity to helping me not get a dreadful hangover is to eat before I sleep.

As I'm pouring my cereal into my bowl I feel the buzz of my phone in my back pocket I sigh and decide to ignore it for now I take my bowl and lean against the counter in the kitchen looking up at the ceiling to stop tears prickling my eyes sighing spooning some cereal into my mouth my thoughts start running all over the place nothing is making any sense. until my phone buzzes again for a second time I once again ignore it and finish my cereal putting my bowl in the sink my phone buzzing for a third time. I take my phone out of my pocket I turn on my phone to check the notifications revealing three messages from Will

Will: Soz I made you leave you nonce x
Will: are you ok?? x
Will: reply to me you whore :( x
Me: sorry was eating
Will: hangover cereal? x
Me: you guessed it
Will: are you ok?
Me: just tired, and not feeling great. Are you alright?
Will: Yeah I guess like boring with you and Alex gone

I knew I was going to kick myself for suggesting this but no matter how I felt Will was still my best friend and I was still his

Me: why don't us 4 go out for lunch tomorrow x
Will: sounds class x
Me: I'll see you tomorrow I'm gonna head to sleep x

I turned my phone off and put it back in my pocket as I walked down the hall into my bedroom "night you two" I shouted before shutting my door I hear a faint "night (y/n) from them both in response. flopping onto my bed I kick off my shoes and slide off my dress before getting under my cozy covers where sleep felt like the best option
