Chapter 51 - What now?

It had been a couple of days since Will and I moved into his mum's place and we were running out of clothes and belongings... so we decided it was time to make the dreaded visit back to the apartments to grab some things from both Will's apartment... and Alex's 

Alex may have chucked a lot of my things out but not all of them, and there was still stuff there that I wanted and needed, and the same for Will. So we decided to go back and get our things I mean it's not like either Alex, George, or Mia can stop us getting our things.

You can stay here you know," Will said as he helped me put on my coat sliding it onto my arms like a gentlemen "And let you go alone? I don't trust you that much love" I replied while kissing Will on the cheek making him chuckle "That's fair"

we both sighed in unison as we stepped out of the house feeling the cold winter air on our noses watching our breath mist mingling with the cold air the two becoming one.
Winter was really starting to hit hard and the weather forecast said we could be hit with a snowstorm any day now... Oh if only Me and Will knew. 

We got into the car Will in the driver's side with me in the passenger's seat, Will started the engine and we blasted the heat the second it warmed up enough once the engine heated up. 
"It's cold enough to snow," I said looking out the window watching home become further away in the wing mirror a small rush of anxiety rushing over me, I had become rather comfortable at Shaz's house and I didn't like the idea of going back to the apartments even for a few minutes.
"Nah, not totally cold enough yet." He said with a reassuring tone "Are you alright?"

"Huh? oh yeah, I'm fine just thinking." I said while fiddling with my engagement ring 
"You can take it off if-" 
"No, No. I don't care if they know I want them to know. I'm just anxious about going back" 
"That's understandable but," Will says putting his hand on my thigh squeezing it gently "I'll be there with you" 

So we continued to drive and for once I and Will were silent we were both lost in our own thoughts trying to predict what would happen when we knocked on that door but that helped nothing it just drove us both insane for the duration of the ride. 
And out of nowhere snow began to fall heavily despite Will's objection to it earlier and I couldn't help but feel like the snow was cementing something bad.

Once we arrived we headed straight inside neither one of us wanting to delay this visit any longer.

We got inside and as the elevator arrived Will realized he had forgotten his phone and keys so he told me to head up to his apartment and he would run up the stairs after me, so I agreed and got in the elevator joining a hooded figure with his head kept down earplugs in his ears so he didn't notice me enter. 

That was until it started to move... The figure turned towards me lifting down his hood 

"Alex!-" I said in shock as the too familiar face stared me down
"What are you doing here-  Alex replied in as much shock as me 

and then...

the elevator just stopped for no reason... as the lights went out, leaving Me and Alex alone in the dark.
