Amara P.O.V

"I want you Aug." Slipped out of my mouth. Deep down i wanted this so bad but I knew that it wasnt right. He was a married man for god's sake.

"August, wait we cant do this." I sat up and re positioned myself on the bed.

"Your right." He ran his head over his face."Maybe i should go." I nodded my head as i watched him collect his things and walk out of the door.

Damn why he gotta be so fine.

I decided to just sleep off the tingling sensation coming from between my legs.

"Amara we need to talk.. No more running away." I heard Josh's voice and my eyes fluttered open.

"What do you want? I haven't talked to you in months and I want it to stay that way." I layed back down in the bed and closed my eyes tightly hopping i would get away from this dream.

"I just wanted to apologize Amara for everything. I know saying sorry is not going to change anything but baby you the one who agreed to go on this journey..i didnt force you." I squeezed my eyes shut once again trying to get away. I now realize how you may be feel about me cheating on you when i saw you with that other man. It hurt like hell seeing him touch you .." I finally gave up and looked up at him. He had his head in the palm of his hands.

"You dont have to worry about that anymore that was a mistake that should have never happened but Your right things cant be changed so im going to let it go help find your killer so you can get the hell out of my life."

*Knock knock*

"Amara you up?" my eyes flew open.

"Yeah im up whats up?"

"I just saw August leave so i figured you were bored like me and Darius."

"Where are you getting at Mia?"

"How would yoj like to go out to diner tonight with Darius and I....and his brother Rico." she mumbled the last part but i still heard her.

"Oh no Tamia no blind dates." I shook my head.

"Well why not?" she whinned.

"Because im just not ready to date yet okay."

"Its just diner Amara what could possibly go wrong?"

"Ugh fine, I dont even know what to wear."

"Ohh ill help." she raced over to my closet full of new clothes that she and Bri bought for me.

I sat on the bed watching her juggle different outfits in her arms. My mind drifted off to August and his sweet lips. Damn I need him.

"Tamia can i tell you something?"

"Well duh i am your best friend! Whats up?" she sat the clothes down and gave me her full attention.

"Me and August almost had sex today." Her mouth dropped.

"Amara Danielle Samuels! Thay is a married man.. you cant do that."

"I know i know Mia..but it just felt so.. Right."

"You need to distance yourself from that man or you both will be in a world of trouble."

Rico P.O.V

"Come on man. Its just diner. And she's a cute girl all im asking is if you can accompany her to diner not marry the chick."I sighed hard.

"Fine man but you owe me big time."

"Thank you! Meet us at The Grand Lux in 30 minutes." He hung up the phone.

I hate blind dates. My brother always did this to me.He was always trying to fix me with somebody because he thought i was lonely. Well news flash im not, i just dont trust these hoes. Not after what my ex Renna did to me. I came home from class one day and she was in our bed with some other nigga. I always promised my foster mother that I would never put my hands on a woman but that day was different. I felt the ultimate disrespect, i really loved that girl.

I got dressed in my burgendy rock jeans and a white v neck. I hopped into my car and drove downtown to the resturant. When i got there i saw my bro and his lady and on the opposite side sat another woman. Her back was facing me so i couldn't see her face which kind of made me mad because if she was ugly i could have just turned around. I walked up to the table and acknowledged my brother.

"Whats up nigga?" We gave eachother one of those bro hugs.

"Nothing much, you remember Tamia." I nodded.

"Yeah whats up how ypu been?" She smiled.

"I've been good thanks for asking but um this is my girl Amara.. Amara this is Darius' brother Rico."

I turned towards Amara and she was by far the most beautiful girl i have seen in a long time. I was in a trance.

"Nice to meet you." she said. She extended her hand and I embraced it.

"Its nice to meet you too." I smiled brightly at her.
