Never Be Enough

Summer

Summer was absolutely amazing. My mother didn't want to be home with her disappointments so we were free! We all went and stayed in Nick's cabin at the lake. Jenna and I went jet skiing and the boys went fishing while Brittany tanned herself. We spent the whole summer together. We were one amazing group.

"Sean, why are you staying local?"

"I thought that it would be nice to stay at home. I didn't want to do something that mom wanted me to do. I didn't want to go onto the major leagues, I want to study business. You never told anyone where you're going?"

Yeah, trust me I know I haven't and I'm not planning on it until I leave.

"Yeah, I haven't really made a final decision yet."

Nice job Bella! Way to keep up with the lies that are secretely eating you alive inside.

Things with Nick have been amazing, he's all I could've wished for. Back at the cabin, we were able to have some alone time in our room.

"Hey princess. It's been a while since we've had some alone time since the party."

I set my book down and raise my eye brows.

"Oh really?"

He crawls towards me and I can see the lust glowing in his eyes. He kisses me passionately and begins his way down my neck and to my collar bone, my sweet spot. 

The next morning Matthew is making waffles, I am starting to see why Brittany likes him so much. Nick heads down the stairs not long after me, he's shirtless with his abs so defined and his hair is messy. God, how did I get so lucky.

"Alright people, it's our last day! What about zip lining and then we throw a party with the people in the neighborhood."

Everyone agrees, I mean who wouldn't love to go zip lining. I'm grabbing some bacon when I feel someone behind me.

"Good morning princess."

His arms wrap around me and I can feel the warmth radiating off of him. 

"Good morning"

He kisses me before being interrupted by someone clearing their throat, quite loudly. It's Sean.

"Would you mind keeping the PDA in the bedroom?"

"Oh come on Sean, we all hear the bed frame banging against the wall at night"

It's true we do. Then Matthew pipes into the conversation.

"How do you know it's him?"

Jenna, Brittany and I look at each other and we turn beet red. Brittany decides to add her two cents which shuts them up. Thank god for her.

We all go and have a blast, I even have a video of Sean screaming like a little girl, which I will totally use as black mail one day. The party was amazing and Nick and I beat Matthew and Sean at beer pong, which will forever be held above their heads. 

We head back the next morning and we get lunch at the diner. It's all coming too fast, it feels like it's only been weeks since we graduated, but it's been all summer. I need to tell them soon, I'm running out of time.
