Never Be Enough

Roommate <3

"Listen up Bella, you left him. So you aren't going to get him back."

Nick walks away towards the room I was curious about as to who was staying there. I should've known.

"Jessica, who said I came back for him."

"We all know that you want him back. Well you aren't going to be able to steal him from me this time."

"Whatever." 

I storm back into my room and finally manage to fall asleep.

The next morning I pack up my things and bring them downstairs.

"Bella? Where are you going? You just got here."

"I'm sorry Sean, but I can't stay under the same roof with those two always around, constantly giving me snide comments. I'm renting an apartment near the hospital I'll be interning at."

"Bella, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. I figured that it would be safer for you to find out on your own."

"It's fine Sean. I put Nick through so much crap that I shouldn't be around him as much."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. Plus, this house reminds me of things I don't want to be reminded of."

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow morning. We're gonna meet at the diner for breakfast around 8:00."

"Got it."

I go outside and put all my stuff in my car. The same car that I left here, but it's the only one I have and it's still in really good condition.

Ten minutes later and I park the car. I grab the key I was given and enter the building, it seems pretty nice. This must've been apart of the renovations to the town to attract more people, which didn't really work. I walk inside my new version of home and it's relatively big for the price I'm paying for it. It's something new, and it's all mine.

"Hey. Are you my new roommate?"

In front of me is a someone extremely good looking, dark haired, and has freckles and his eyes are so deep.

"Roommate?"

"Yeah sorry did it not say that you would have a roommate, that's why this place is so big and so cheap."

"Anyways, who are you?"

"Cameron. And who might you be?" 

"Bella."

"Great, so you might wanna get unpacked then, I'll leave you to it."

My room has an amazing view of the forest, I unpack my stuff and fall asleep easily.

I wake up to my phone going absolutely crazy, it's 7:30 and Jenna is already texting me to get up, she knows me so well. I get up, shower and head to the kitchen to grab my keys, Cameron must not be awake yet. Great start to the day, I'm gonna be on time and I don't have anymore awkward encounters with my new roommate.

"Good morning!"

I spoke too soon. Behind me, Cameron is standing with a towel hanging off his waste, and his abs on full display.

"Um uh, I have to go. I'll see you later."

And with that I rush out the door feeling my face heat up from embarrassment.
