Levi's POV:

I stayed back with the pastor. Not that I didn't want in on the action, but I knew I'd just slow everyone down. Sitting in the wagon with that bastard gave me plenty of time to think. Military Police were around for possible help with titans if there really was a breach. I rolled my eyes at their cocky attitudes. I sat there and worried about (Y/n). I sighed and hoped she was okay. I looked at the pastor and thought about her. I didn't regret what we did, but I wished we could have done more. Maybe even gotten married, I'd have something to hold onto then. I ran my hand through my hair and closed my eyes. 'It's too early for that. But, for some reason, the thought doesn't sound half bad to me.' I scoffed at myself and shook it off. I sat as some of the idiot MPs asked me where I was 'hiding' the Titans. I glanced over my shoulder and rolled my eyes again. "Problem? You seem eager to be eaten, alive soldier. Sorry, we couldn't make that happen for you. But hey, plenty of opportunities outside the wall if you're looking. Lots of scouting expeditions. I'd be more than happy for the help." I glared at them. "We could all fight titans together." We heard the advancement squad was back. I held my breath as they talked about three titans among the squad that Hange was leading other than Jaeger. '(Y/n)...'  my eyes widened when I heard "by the time our unit arrived on the scene, it was too late. I'm sorry." Part of me felt broken and the rest of me denied any idea of (Y/n) being another casualty. 'No. She's not dead. She's fine.'

Your POV:

~~~~~ meanwhile ~~~~~~~~
I laid in pain, burned from the steam off the colossal titan. We were told too late that the colossal titan was coming down toward us. As far as I knew none of us were crushed, but some people were burnt pretty bad by the gust of steam that came off of him. Some were thrown by the power of the steam but turns out that kept them away from being burnt as badly as others, though I'm sure being thrown hurt either way. Those closer to the top of the wall and on the wall hardly got burned. I was glad that some made it out unscathed. Due to the pain, I would randomly wake up and fall asleep at different times. It hurt to be awake so it was easier to just sleep. When I woke up for a longer amount of time though I heard Armin and Mikasa talking, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. I tried so hard to listen and I tried to move but it hurt. I heard Hannes talking about Eren. It hurt but I turned my head to look around. I saw Hange beside me asleep and hurt. I turned my head to look at Hannes and started silently weeping from the pain. I sighed and tried my best to believe that Eren was giving Bertholdt and Reiner hell. I cracked a smile. It felt like my skin was being ripped off my mouth or that I was a statue cracking under pressure.
I heard horses and turned my head to see Erwin leading a bunch of MPs to give us help. My eyes fluttered from being tired as I hear Erwin talk. I could've fallen asleep again if Hange hadn't crawled over me to get to where she needed to be. I could barely get out a word. "Owwww...." I tensed up and bit my lip in pain as a reflex. I hurt myself more so I just laid not moving. I listened to Hange's plan. I believed in her and those who came to help. I slowly and painfully got up. My skin felt like it was all going to fall off of me like when your skin peels from a bad sunburn. I sort of limped over to Hange who was still laying on the ground overlooking those who went to go get Eren and Ymir and possibly make Reiner and Bertholdt pay. She requested a horse to go and inspect Connie's village where the titan who couldn't move was. As much as I knew she needed to heal she had a point, something was off about the reports given and Connie was talking about how he could have sworn he heard his mom's voice come from the immobilized titan. Moblit sighed, probably agreeing, but offered to go himself. He told me not to get any ideas and to watch after Hange who could move even less than me. He carefully helped me sit back down next to Hange. He went off to go and do as Hange said and I laid back down as Hange muttered stuff before she fell back into a pain-induced sleep.
