Y/n's POV:
I brought Sana to the beach where I confessed to her, then I sat on a bench and sighed. How could Miku do that to me? I gave her everything that she wanted, but for what? For pain and sadness. I refused to blink because I know that when a tear escapes my eye, I wouldn't be able to stop the incoming waterfall. Still, even when I resisted, I began to cry uncontrollably. My world began to crumble and tear down. Thankfully, Sana was there to comfort me.
Sana didn't say a word, but she just took my hand and held tightly onto it. Then I sat up and hugged her without a word. I could tell that she was surprised at my actions because of how she froze, but soon, she wrapped her arms around me while I cried on her shoulder. "Just let it out, Y/n," Sana said as she rubbed my back. "Everything is gonna be alright," she added, then she tightened her hug and took some of the pain away. It's amazing that she could do that.
I'm not one to believe in magic or enchantments, but I think she has that magical thing that just automatically cheers me up, and I would never want to lose that certain magical thing. I'm so lucky to have someone like her. Someone who can ease even the worst pain. I might not love her like I did before, but I still need her in my life. She's the only one who has the ability to take all the negativity in my heart away, and I will not let anything take her away.
I finally stopped crying, then I pulled myself away from Sana while still sniffling. Sana cupped my cheeks and smiled before wiping away what's left of my tears with her thumbs. "Thank you so much for being here, Sana," I said, then I suddenly felt like I was gonna cry again. It was just the thought of her being here with me. I closed my eyes and shut them tight, then Sana asked why I was acting like that. "I just still couldn't believe that you're here and comforting me."
Sana chuckled, then she took my hands and placed them on her face. "There," she said, then she pushed my hands onto her soft cheeks. "You can feel me, right?" she asked, then I nodded, wondering why she was doing that, so I just nodded to answer her question. "Then you should believe that I'm here at this very moment, and I'm never gonna leave you like I did before," she said, then my face crumpled, and without wanting to, I suddenly cried again.
"Y/n!! Don't cry!!" Sana panicked, then she took a hanky from her pocket, then she repeatedly dabbed it onto my cheeks where my tears were flowing. "Y/n~ don't cry, please~!" she said, then she cupped my cheeks again and began to squish them. "I swear if I lay my hands on that girl!! I've waited for long enough, and I don't want anyone making my Y/n cry!" she said, not realizing that she was already about to make my face turn into mush because of her hands.
Ironic, isn't it? The person whom we love most would be the one to give us so much pain. Did she even love me? Even just for a day? Or did she just use me to get what she wanted? I can't believe that I fell for someone that doesn't really love me. I fell for a fool's gold. I'm done with her. If that Tyson guy would make her happier... then I would be willing to let her go even though it breaks my heart to a thousand pieces. But I'm pretty sure that that Tyson guy looks familiar.
I finally stopped crying once again, then I opened my eyes and saw Sana looking deep into my eyes. "What is it?" I asked her, then she shook her head slowly while saying, "I'm really gonna pull every strand of her hair for making you cry." I chuckled at what she said, then I held her hand and stood up. "Don't think about her anymore," I said even though I'm the one who should do that. "Let's take a walk, shall we?" I asked, then I wiped my face again and smiled.
Sana stood up while still holding my hand, then we began silently walking hand-in-hand on the golden sand of the beach, just listening to the soft and relaxing sound of the waves hitting the shore. "I'm sure you missed this, too," I said, then we looked at each other. "Of course, I did," she said, then the cries of seagulls added up to the nostalgic vibe of the beach. Even the simplest moments could be the most special if we just appreciate it.
