Y/n's POV:
Sana and I finished getting ready to go out. I didn't ask her to wear fancy clothes. We just dressed as if we're gonna go to a mall or stuff like that. She kept on asking me where we were going, but I kept telling her that we were just going to the mall and watch a movie in the theatre. But I really had something special in mind. Something that she would probably love. We went out of the house and was greeted by one of the guards. "Sir, Ma'am, good morning!" he said, then we greeted him back. "Did you get the car ready?" I asked, then he smiled and nodded. "Yes, Sir. The 2019 Audi RS 5 is ready for use," he said, then he passed me the key. "Thank you, you may go back to your post," I said, then he bowed and left.
I looked at Sana. "You ready?" I asked, then she nodded. "Always am. As long as I'm with you," she said, then I held her hand and walked to the car with her. I opened the door for her, then I went to the other side and entered. The vehicle's engine was already running, and it was only waiting for me to drive. I turned my body to Sana, then I fastened her seatbelt for her. "Thank you," she said with a smile, and of course I said, "You're welcome," returning that warm smile. I fastened my seatbelt, then I said, "Let's go," before stepping on the accelerator and left the mansion's front courtyard and out of the gate.
I didn't tell her where we're going, but I was actually heading for the place where we first met. The school. That place will surely bring back a lot of memories. Ones that will make us laugh. Ones that will make us cry. But surely all of those are worth remembering. It would be such a moment for us to reminisce about our past. The way we grew up together like we were partners in everything. We've been really strong to the point that even 7 years without connection didn't change the way treat each other one bit. Instead, it even made us want and need each other more.
"I recognize this place," she said, then she looked around wondering what took place in that street that we were driving through. "This was where we walked late at night when we did a school project," I recalled, then her eyes widened and she blushed when she remembered. "Y-Yeah! I remember!" she said. "But that's not all. You probably remember something else and that's why you're blushing," I said, then she slowly nodded. "You held my hand that night because I was so afraid of walking at night," she said, then I laughed. "I knew you'd remember."
As I drove, I made a left turn and saw another place where we made some memories. "How about this street right here? Do you remember something?" I asked, then a smile showed on her lips. It's as if she remembers it as clear as day. "Of course I remember. How could I forget that one rainy day when we walked home without using your umbrella," she said, then I automatically smiled as I recalled the time when she forgot to bring her umbrella and my umbrella was too small to fit the two of us.
"I was trying to give you my umbrella that day," I said, then she nodded. "Yeah. I remember clearly. I also remember taking it, then closing it immediately just to be fair. That's why none of us were able to use the umbrella," she recalled everything correctly. I thought I was the only one who implanted those memories within my mind. It turns out that she also didn't want to forget one single thing. Must've been really hard on her, considering that she hadn't seen these places in a very long time.
"I wish I could've spent more time with you when we were young," she said, making me look at her for a second. I saw that she wasn't looking at me. She was just staring out the window. "Don't worry about that anymore," I said, then I could tell that she was looking at me even though my eyes were fixed on the road. I was smiling. "We might not have been able to spend our teenage days together, at least we can spend the future with each other. To me, that's something much better. You and I growing old together, having moments like this," I said, then I looked at her for a second and flashed a smile.
