Y/n's POV:

I watched her walk away from me. She looked back a few times, but soon she was surrounded by fans, and I was unable to see her. And just like that, I was without her again. However, it feels really different from how it was years ago. I would just miss her and think about her often, but at least I know that I'll still be the one that she truly loves.

I went straight back home after that. I greeted Mom who was watching Netflix in the living room. "Hey, Y/n. You came back quickly," she said. I realized that it was just almost 8 am. "Well, I have nowhere else to go, so I headed straight back here. Anyway, I'm kinda hungry. I'll just go to the kitchen to grab something to eat. Have you eaten?" I asked, then she smiled and nodded. "Okay then," I said before going to the kitchen.

As soon as I entered the kitchen, I saw food covered on the table. I uncovered it and revealed those delicious pancakes tbat Mom makes. "You're the best, Mom!" I said from the kitchen upon seeing my favorite breakfast served. Then, I sat down on a chair and began eating when Hana arrived, so I offered her some pancakes and she kindly refused, saying that she had already ate and she kust came to talk. About what though?

"Sure. What is it about?" I asked, then she looked away from me and said, "By any chance... could your girlfriend be my daughter?" Oh, Lord. Is this really happening? I began weirdly slapping my face gently trying to see if I was dreaming, but it turns out that everything was really happening and I was looking like a fool in front of Sana's mom. But does that mean that she's really suspecting that Sana might be her daughter? I know. A stupid question.

I didn't know what to say, or how I should act at that moment, so my mouth just automatically spurted out, "Y-Yes. She is." 'Cause I couldn't lie anymore about Sana. Especially because she told me to take charge in making her remember. Hana became silent. Her eyes were locked onto mine. "R-Really?" she asked again holding my shoulders, almost as if she was wanting me to be a hundred percent sure about my answer.

"Yes. She is. But she's afraid to tell you that, so she just decided to take care of you as someone else," I explained to her just so that she could understand. She looked as if she was about to cry, but I placed my hand on her shoulder and said, "It's okay. She made me promise that I would take care of you, and that's exactly what I would do. Until she returns." She smiled faintly and asked, "She'd do that?" and I replied, "Yes," with a reassuring smile

"You know, Hana, your daughter loved you a lot. But she didn't have the courage to tell you that. She's afraid that you might reject her," I said, then she looked down on the table and nodded to say that she understood. "However, there's no need to be guilty anymore. She still loves you. None had changed for the past 7 years," I added so that she won't feel that guilt anymore. "I hope she finds it in her heart to forgive us. I just regret being a very destructive parent to her."

I shook my head disagreeing with what she said right after taking a sip of the milk that I prepared for myself. "She was not destroyed at all, to be honest. I mean, she'd been hurt really bad, but if you see her now? She bravely fought her way to achieving her dream! You should see her at Sixteen," I said, then I immediately added, "Oh, and she forgave you already. A long, long time ago. Don't you worry about it. She has a heart the size of the Betelgeuse star!"

"How long have you been her friend?" She asked, then I answered, "7 years, and still going. But this time, not just as friends," with a smile on my face. "I'm sorry if she became my girlfriend without your permission," I said, but then she took my right hand with both of hers and said, "I'm glad that you're her boyfriend. Not because you're rich, but you're kind-hearted and I can tell by how you look at her that you love her so much. So please, I ask nothing more but for you to take good care of my daughter," then she squeezed my hand and smiled.
