Y/n's POV:
We arrived at the house in no time, then we greeted Mom who was smiling at us as if she knew something that we didn't know of. "You two enjoyed?" she asked, then Sana and I looked at each other and I replied to Mom with, "Yup, but..." I sighed, then I looked down. Mom walked towards me and held my head up to face her. "What's the matter, Y/n?" she asked, looking at me in a very caring way. A tear suddenly escaped my eye when I remembered what Miku did to me.
Mom wiped the tear from my cheek and looked at Sana. "Is it that girl?" Mom asked, then Sana and I nodded at the same time. "I knew it..." Mom said, then she pulled my head and rested it on her shoulder. "It's okay, Y/n. Whatever happened or happens, know that we are still here to love you. Sana and I. Right, Sana?" Mom asked, then Sana placed her hand on my shoulder and said, "Of course. We'll be here in good times and in bad."
These two women. They really are blessings. The amount of pain that I'm feeling is nothing compared to how they take my sadness away. They're like my guardians angels. They're my antidote in a toxic world. They're all that I'll ever need, and I won't let anyone take them away from me. Nobody knows my pain the way they do. No one saw me at my worst like Mom did. No one had ever hurt me like Sana did, but she was already forgiven a long time ago, and at least she's with me.
Mom pulled away from hugging me, then she looked into my eyes and kissed my forehead which made me smile a little bit. "I hate seeing my baby boy crying," she said, then my face heated up from embarrassment. "Mom..." I groaned, then Mom laughed while Sana snickered quietly. "Now you two go to rest, okay? Always remember that every day that comes is always a new day. This goes for you, too, Sana. Who knows? Maybe tomorrow you'll be more than just friends?" Mom laughed. Sana was clearly embarrased, but I just snickered.
Mom sent us upstairs to rest, and while we were climbing the stairs, Sana said to me, "You're lucky to have such a caring mother like Mom." I just smiled at what she said and remembered that her family doesn't really show her the love and care that she deserves, which is why we became so close. I showed her how it felt to love, and to be loved. We became a family, she and I. Until years later when that day at the beach came. I thought everything was done and torn apart.
I remember the first time I saw her, we were both in high school at the time. She was writing on a notebook while sitting on a bench and I just felt the urge to sit with her because she looked cute. "Hey," I said when I was close enough. She looked at me for a while, then the corners of her lips curled upwards. "Hi," she said, then he revealed her ever so gorgeous smile, and I was amazed and thunderstruck at how beautiful she looked.
"M-Mind if I sit with you?" I said, and I really wanted to slap myself for stuttering in front of her. What a nice first impression. She shuffled to the side to make some space and then she said, "I don't mind at all." I was surprised. I thought she wouldn't want to be with someone because from what I saw, I thought she was introverted. I sat beside her, then I asked, "What are you writing?" then she covered the notebook and said, "This is nothing," but I saw it. She was doing calligraphy, and it looked awesome!
"You like calligraphy?" I asked, then she looked at the notebook again and removed her hand from covering her work. I was enthralled. "Whoa. That's amazing!" I said as I looked at what she wrote. "I'm Gonna Be A Star" I read because those were the words that were written on the notebook. "You want to be a star??" I asked, then she blushed and nodded. "I want to be one, but..." she looked down. "What's the matter??" I asked, then she shook her head and just smiled again.
She still has that attitude even when years had passed. The way she hides her feelings.
Months prior from when we met, we were as close as a couple, but of course without the romantic things. We just already know each other very well that when we look into each other's eyes, we already know what's going on inside each other's heads. But damn, back then I really wanted us to be a couple, and I found out just recently that she felt the same way towards me. I just hope she could've told me earlier. But at least we are now at the top of the world! She's a member of one of the most successful girl groups while I am a very successful man.
