Y/n's POV:

I woke up in a familiar place just down the river with a sharp headache. Half of my body was still submerged under the water while my upper body was on a rock. "Fuck..." I muttered, shivering because of how cold the water was. My legs were so numb. I pulled myself up onto the rock, and then I lain down and looked at my legs. I almost fainted when I saw just how bad my right leg was swelling, and two leeches were sucking on the other leg.

I pulled the leeches off, and the numbness of my legs really helped me a lot. I looked around. It was too dark to see anything clearly. There were trees everywhere and the only light that shone was the light of the moon. I badly need to get to Claire though. I hope she's hanging on. But how? It's so dark, and my leg is swollen. I have an excruciating headache. The only advantage I have is that this part of the river is familiar to. But it is far from camp. Maybe I should wait until morning comes.

No. I can't sit here while Claire's condition is getting worse. I need to get there soon. I waited until my legs weren't numb anymore. Slowly, I felt just how painful the swelling was. I couldn't help but to flinch every single time that I try to move it. But I had to move. I had to at least get to the riverside, so even with the pain that I was feeling, I carefully slid down the rock that I was on and slowly submerged my body into the water.

The river was shallow enough for me to cross without having to swim. The thought of alligators, crocodiles, and snakes just filled my mind. I was so afraid, but that just made me go even faster without having to mind the pain of my swelling leg. Finally, I got to the riverside. I felt all the weight of my body pressing down on my swelling leg, and found it so hard to walk. As soon as I got out of the water, I sat down, and then by chance there was a long stick that was thick enough for me to use as a walking stick.

As I walk through the woods, I kept on supporting my weight by holding onto the trees around me. The pain made me want to give up walking, because I know that that part of the river where I woke up from was more or less 4 kilometers away from the camp. I don't even know if I'm still on the right track. I might get lost, but I have to try to get back to Claire. She's all that I have in this island. I have to save her. But then I heard something from a distance. It was just a soft whirring sound, but I was certain that it was a helicopter! I'm so certain!

Soon, the sound was getting closer and closer. I was right! It was a helicopter! "I'M HERE!!!!" I shouted as loud as I can, knowing that it was almost just on top of where I was. However, the trees were blocking my view of the sky. I kept on shouting and shouting! But I wasn't heard, nor was I seen. I should've stayed at the river! With all the endurance that I have, I ran. I ran even with a swollen leg. I cried because of the pain, but my desire to be saved was so great. I ran back to the river, then I kept on shouting once again.

"HELP!!!! PLEASE!!!!!"

"I'M HERE!!!! HELP ME!!!"

"PLEASE!!!! I'M HERE!!!!"

I finally saw the helicopter. It was shining a spotlight down onto the ground. But it already passed by me. It didn't see me. But it sparked hope within me even more! They're starting to search the island! They're still looking for us! Claire!! Maybe they'll find Claire! Maybe she's with them! I hope they found her! She needs the help more. I can still handle myself. As long as she's safe. I will stay here by the river. I told Claire where I would be. If they found her, I'm sure she'll tell them.

Sana's POV:

5 days later after I arrived, I was already studying at the house, just reading a book about managing a business. I was too busy to even use my phone. But then, I got a call from Miku. I forgot to mention, she and I became friends when she saved us from those bad guys. But why is she calling me now? Maybe it's urgent. I suddenly gasped and took my phone when I realized that maybe she had an idea about Y/n!! That's her job right?? To protect him?? Please!!! Let that be the case!!
