The lunch bell rings and everyone rushes out of the classroom, but as always our group stays behind to talk.
" So what's the plan for elf ears?" A guy from our school's basketball team asks Aubrey and me, and I can't help but cringe at the name that they have given my friend, but there was no way I was going to tell them that she was a friend of mine. I'm afraid if I did that they would do the same thing to me that they would do to poor Harley. I know, I'm a coward but if you were in the same situation I am would you do the same thing or risk everything you have worked for to save one friend from the other friends and your best friend? Whatever, it doesn't matter anyway.
Aubrey looks at me for ideas but I just shrug. I usually didn't get involved with all the pranks that my friends like to play, and even though I might be a bad person I'm not a horrible one like some of them. Let's face it everyone has a bitter side to them and some of them just like to show it by embarrassing others for their own enjoyment, but I'm not one of those people. I don't enjoy it.
Aubrey turns back to the guy and giggles. " I have an idea."

" Ahhh!" I hear Harley scream from a nearby table. She still didn't know I was here and I wish I could keep it that way, I wish that I didn't have to deal with this. I didn't want to do this, but here I am being a little bitch not doing anything about it. I'm a sicko, but there's nothing I can do to change that. I wish I could be like Aubrey who can just brush it off and act like it never happen, but it did.
My friends decided that they were going to make their famous 'leftover lunch soup' and pour it over her head.
" That's what you deserve elf ears!" One of the girls from Aubrey's cheer team says and I scrunch up my nose at the foul smell of lunch food and milk.
I didn't want to look, I was too scared to see what was happening, so I did the only thing I could do.
I stand up and trudge out of the lunchroom not once looking back at the look of enjoyment on their faces as they embarrass my friend on her first day. She never did tell me that she was going to go here. Maybe that's what she was trying to tell me yesterday. The guilt sinks in as I walk in the halls. How could I have done this? I'm a horrible person! I'm too much of a wussy to stand up to my own friends to do anything! I'm literally nothing!
Just then I feel my face slam into what I think is a wall and lookup. It wasn't a wall, it was a person, and that person was none other than the one and only Jasper Gray. The beautiful blonde with a six-pack and gorgeous green eyes that were looking at me with an expression I couldn't really understand.
The world just hated me today, but then again I guess they have a reason why don't they? I deserve what was to come.
" Hey watch it," Jasper says to me turning around.
" I could say the same thing and probably much more, but my day is already pretty shitty and I don't want it to be any worse so have a nice day and- " as soon as I start walking off to somewhere far away from Jasper but then feel a strong grip wrap around my wrist to hold me back from going anywhere. Great.
I turn around trying to yank my arm out of his grip but sadly my strength isn't anywhere as strong as he is so I just stand there.
I don't like Jasper, not one bit. He might be my best friend's twin but that does not mean by any means that they are alike. Sure Aubrey can be a bitch sometimes but Jasper was just an ass all the time.
