The two and a half year old looked at the spinny chair with wide eyes. She's never seen a chair move in circles like that. It spun all the way around! And she didn't understand how people weren't freaking out about the darn thing. It spun around! Hello!

The blonde superhero chuckled as she watched the little girl, then bent down, picking her up and setting her on the chair. Spinning it as the little girl sat in it, earning loud happy giggles from the little girl.

"Supergirl?" She looked up, looking at the group of agents that were looking at her. Her smile transformed into a straight line as she stopped the chair from spinning. A small 'awe' came from the little girl's lips, but she didn't say anything else. "What happened?"

"I was patrolling when I saw a wanted alien. I called Director Danvers, and let her know I was going in. I knew I should've waited for back-up but the alien surrendered and told us about Y/n-"

"Me!" The little girl giggled, waving at a few people. A few chuckles escaped a few agents, and Supergirl couldn't help but smile.

"He told us about her, telling us not to hurt her and that she's special. He hasn't talked since and admitted to his wrong doings." J'onn looked at the little girl, who was minding her business and playing with a small red flower.

"It's already too late to send her somewhere, and we need to make sure she's safe. Supergirl, can you take her for the night? I know it's asking a lot, but-"

"Of course! Ooh, this is gonna be so cool! We can stay up wat-"

"Kara!" Her sister sent her a glare, causing the blonde hero to frown. "This is serious, you-" the little girl climbs up onto the table, walking over to the agent and hands her a flower crown.

"You." She places it on top of Alex's head, nodding, before going to sit back down. Kara covers her mouth, finding it very difficult to not laugh at how her sister looks. Alex clears her throat, but leaves the crown on.

"Um.."

"Alex, I can do this. I know it's been a while but I can take care of her, please believe me. Besides, it's only until J'onn can find her a place. I wanna do this." Alex heaves a sigh, waving her hand as she nods.

"Winn will set you up with the temporary paperwork, then you can leave." J'onn nods, walking out of the meeting room amd heading to who knows where. Before Alex can scold her sister about how little kids aren't like dogs, a tug at Supergirl's cap gets their attention.

Both ladies look down at the little girl, seeing another flower crown in her hand. "Daddy?" Kara's eyes are wide, wondering if the little girl was call her daddy or..

"Daddy?" She points at herself, but the little girl shakes her head and points at the ground, where they kept the cages.

"Go see daddy?" Oh. Kara hums, not really knowing what to say. She looks at Alex, who looks like her head is about to spin around and pop off with how fast she shakes her head. "Pwease?" The frown and wide eyes is what gets Kara, and soon with a glare from her sister, they're walking to the aliens cage.

"Daddy!" The alien looks up, shocked to see the little girl there. Y/n wiggles around in Supergirl's arms, whining to be put down, and when she get's her little feet on the ground, she runs to the bars, holding a flower crown through the bars.
